Speaking of basketball... the preseason coaches poll came out, and Ohio got ZERO votes. How the hell does that happen? They only won 29 games last year, went to the Sweet 16 (nearly beating UNC), and return EVERYONE from that team. It boggles my mind that not one coach even bothered to include them.

Thats fucked. They were actually a good team, you could see that in the tourney. Wow.

O.U. manhandled a pretty decent Penn State team (now 4-2, just beat #24 Northwestern), outscoring them 21-0 in the 2nd half. Just who the hell has Kent State beaten? Ball State? Fucking Towson? I mean, hell, they got blown out by a 1-5 Kentucky team.

But they're "blowing people out" right?!

Well, I had a bad feeling about the Miami game, and sure enough they lost. The East is a clusterfuck now. If Miami and Ohio win out, Miami makes the championship game (which would suck because I'm still convinced OU is the better team). Now OU needs to win out and hope Kent State beats Miami.

Unfortunately, Kent State looks legit, and they host OU this year. Hopefully that game between OU and Kent at the end of the year decides the East champ. That would be cool.

Regardless of who comes out of the division though, nice to see the MAC taking out some of the big boys. I'd put OU, Kent, Toledo, and NIU up against any other mid-major conferences, and the Big East.

Either OU or Kent out of the MAC please. I go to OU, but grew up in Stow (10 mins away from KSU) so I wouldn't mind seeing them win it either. However, I better not see Miami win the fucking conference. Fuck them.
