Hello,

I don't know if this is the right section but I just wanted to know what everyone is doing for the home opener. It is always entertaining to see what everybody has planned in taking in the biggest Cleveland sports event in a long time. I am actually heading up to Cleveland around 1 that day to tour Great Lakes Brewing Company and then go to the casino and bars. then hit up the party outside the Q and listen to Kendrick Lamar and then finally go into the arena to watch warmups and gear up for the game and crazy atmosphere.
 
I'll be downtown around 2:00 hitting up some bars around The Q and will probably head over to catch some of the pregame activities. The atmosphere downtown should be pretty nuts all day. Not forecasting any rain at this point, and a high of 50. Sounds like a pleasant fall day.
 
Watching at my home in Tampa wishing I was in Cleveland going to the game. I feel itnis surreal this night is finally here. July feels like 4 years ago.Can't believe contending basketball is back!


I want to win by 20 and beat the Bulls by 10 or more the next night. Start the season with a message!
 
Leaving St Petersburg, FL on Tuesday for the drive up. Staying downtown so we don't have to drive as much. Hitting the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in the early part of the day and then hanging around the Q til game time.
 
I'm planning to drive from my house in Tel Aviv to the Ben Gurion International Airport, which is about 40 minutes drive. And then I'll catch the first flight to NYC which will take about 10 hours. and then another connection to Cleveland which is another 2 hours, and I planned it this way that I'll get to the Q right in time for the tip off.





But at the end of the day I'll probably sit in front of the screen watching it only the next day in DVR mode via BallsStream, because the game starts at 3:00AM Israel time... ;)
 
Most of us heard that Kendrick Lamar and Kevin Hart will be there. But also Justin Timberlake, Beyonce and Jay Z are coming. I hope Beyonce brings her sister. She's feisty!
 
Get drunk with a couple of friends and then watch the game on my AppleTV. I'm so unbelievably excited for the home opener!!!
Unfortunately, I can't soak up all the hype and atmosphere in Cleveland as I live in Germany.
I guess I'll be one of the few who will also be on RCF while watching the game.
Everyone who is in downtown Cleveland: Y'all have to go nuts and just enjoy all the attention and atmosphere surrounding our home opener. For that night, we'll be the center of the sports universe!
 
The little lady and I took the day off work. Gonna make a day of it downtown. Get lunch in Ohio city, walk around a little, head downtown and check out the fan fest, then get to the arena super early. Wanna watch early shoot around, check out a bunch of stuff at the arena.

Can't wait.
 
Game begins at 10am here in Australia - as such, I'm taking the day off work, getting up nice and early to make myself look like the city of Cleveland threw up on me and to give me enough time to partake in the pre-game online festivities, fixing myself a big fat bowl of cereal and then letting the television take me to a euphoric place that I never knew existed.

Will be up there with the greatest days in the history of mankind IMO.
 
If any one is in Toledo and wants to meet up for the game, PM me! We can meet up at a bar or I have ballstreams and a 50" plasma :)

yep they are usually up the day of the game, rarely the day before but that was during the dark days :chuckle:
