Opening Night Plans

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Flying in from Brooklyn NY Wednesday. Gonna head downtown around 3 on Thurs. Get a couple beers. Probably just walk around giving everyone high fives for a couple of hours. Head to the Q when they open the doors.

Damn, it's gonna be so exciting!

Where do we see information about the Cavs sponsored events downtown Thursday?

My plan is to become reborn on Thursday October 30th 2014

I plan to do the outside stuff from 4 till 6 then head inside at 6!

Plans, well, going to the game with my dad. Probably should get there early.

Oh, and hopefully meeting Ernie Johnson and the gang before the game because I had the chance to interview him this past summer and would love to meet him.

Also, when do the doors open? 7?

I think 6pm

I will be in San Diego sweating my balls off, and probably studying.

Arriving downtown around 2pm.

Winking Lizard for lunch and beers

Casino 4 to 6

Head into the Q around 630

Just getting to the Q very early. Want to soak it all in. Pregame warmups, the new scoreboard.

Four years of pain, time to reflect and celebrate.

I'll drive down after lunch. Park early.

This is not a day to fight traffic, drive around for a parking spot/wait in line should the flash seats readers malfunction or hang out at a bar I could go any day or night of the week.

No, this is THIS day. At the Q.

Early.

If you arrive early to the Cavs game around 6PM are you allowed to view the warm ups from the lower level section? I have tickets for uppers, but hoped to check the lowers out before. Usually they don't mind, but won't be surprised if different for the opener.

I think you answered your own question. It wouldn't be surprising for them to have special plans in place for a marquee event like this one.

I think 6pm
6:00pm the doors open.

Going downtown with my dad at 3pm. Plan to hang out and soak in the atmosphere. Will definitely be at the Q by 6:00pm. Don't want to miss a second of warm ups.

Xearoli is correct 6pm door open. Corrected post.

Hopefully, I'll be driving up from Columbus that morning, spending the day in the city with my wife and going to the game.

If tickets fall through....

I'll be on my couch snacking on some City BBQ and wife's homemade soft pretzels and beer cheese
