Opening Night Plans

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Where can I go downtown to be close enough to the atmosphere, but still be able to legitimately watch the game?

I'm pretty sure there is a viewing party outside The Q if you can't get a ticket into the game.

Going up early to the casino and casino buffet, then heading over early to the Q.

I've got a friend who was an asst college coach for many years, then did D League (for Minn), now he is one of the advance scouts for the Hawks. His primary focus is Cleveland, with Detroit his secondary focus (if that scout can't cover a specific game) and Indy/Chi just in case.

So any near future opponents for the Hawks that happen to be playing in Cleveland... he scouts that opponent. He will be at the Cavs opener scouting the Knicks who play Atl early in the season. We'll catch up before the game and if he gets in early enough he'll join us at the casino/buffet.

All-in-all, should be freakin' amazing! Can't wait to see Love do a half-court chest pass/outlet pass to LBJ streaking up the sideline who grabs the pass, takes one dribble, and goes up for the uncontested slam. LeBron is da man for sure, but KLove is going to be HUGE for this team. I can't freakin' wait.

Sounds like an awesome job!

I will arrive to my couch about 7:54pm..hopefully before that my daughter will have already called and say she needs a ride home from work..

We still don't have an official concert time right? Also is it going to take place right outside the Q?

So I'm assuming they are showing the concert on TV before the game and everything right? Since they said it was "TNT's".

Found this: "The public event starts at 4 p.m. Thursday, and the concert begins at 7 p.m. After the concert, the lot will turn into a watch party with a national broadcast of the game on TNT at 8 p.m. "

Well that sucks for people who want to do both the concert and the game. Im definitely not missing a second of the warmups and intro's, but I imagine the crowd headed over to the Q after the concert is over will be way too big to be a part of and then get to your seats on time.

This is messed up just one year ago our biggest concern and pre game hype was If Bynum would be healthy. Now we have Imagine Dragons, Kevin Heart, multiple other stars and huge coverage. I must be dreaming... I am going to wake up too watch Jack chucking Jumpers Thursday I know it.

I work until 10pm so it looks like it's the DVR for me.

I will be in a bar in chicago with a smirk on my face, quietly watching Bulls fans in denial.

Trying to figure out a way to get there from NC and still get back for an appt I can't miss mid-day Friday. Might turn into 16 hours of driving in a 20 hour window :D

Ya really sucks that you have tickets to the biggest game in cleveland in years and you also can't go to the free concert. Be happy man, there is a lot of people that wish they could be at that game, including me.

Just was able to snag $300 tickets in the nosebleeds, so looks like I'll be making the short trip up from Toledo to attend. Can't freaking wait! Should be one of those once in a lifetime type memories.
