OSU Recruiting Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Very curious, are we going to keep Gibson?

Urban was the last coach to see him face-to-face last Friday. Apparently he's all about loyalty and Ohio State has stayed loyal to him throughout the process, so I think he stays. I expect Weber and Gibson to stick and Prince and KJ Hill to join in tomorrow.

247Sports received a call from a person close to Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech Top247 running back and Ohio State commitMichael Weber early Wednesday morning saying that, “heads up, Weber may flip his decision” to Michigan.

The source said that Weber is sleeping on his final decision, “but it’s looking like it’s a flip.

“He’s been talking about it for a while. He’s been thinking about it.”

Ranked by the 247Sports Composite as the nation’s No. 9 running back and No. 78 prospect overall, Weber committed to Michigan in August and decommitted in November.

Weber committed to Ohio State on Dec. 10 and visited the campus on Jan. 23 for the Buckeyes National Championship ceremony.

Could Weber still stick with Ohio State.

“I think it’s still a chance but when he called me tonight he said I think I’m going to be a Wolverine.”

Also seeing Alabi could flip to the Hurricanes, going to be interesting day tomorrow.

Alibi signed is LOI with Ohio State

KJ Hill also committed to the Buckeyes

Torrance Gibson as well.

The guys I'm really waiting for are Weber and Prince. Otherwise, so far, so good.

Michigan flips RB commit Karan Higdon from Iowa.

Signs pointing to Weber sticking with OSU.

He fucked up Prince's first name on his first tweet. But said he heard from a "very reliable" source he will be a Buckeye

Queue up TUN fans saying that they liked Higdon more than Weber anyways... :chuckle:

Lot of people rip on us for paying attention to this day. It's just fun for the sports geek in me (also for the Buckeye honk in me).

Only LOIs not in yet (I believe) are Weber, Prince and Gibson. Gibson committed this morning. Prince is about to announce imminently and Weber will announce at 10 AM.

Ed Warriner is probably doing a nice little dance right now.

The six guys this year, with five last year? Yikes.
