Pat Riley is driving the salt truck

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think Miami will be decent next year, and the main reason is because of Chris Bosh.

Bosh knows how to score, he knows how to carry a team into the playoffs. Of course, he may have gotten a little too comfortable with LeBron always around taking most of the coverage and the double teams, but he's still capable of being a 20/10 guy nightly in Miami.

Obviously that team isn't a title contender no more.. And while they won't stay healthy, they will still manage to make the playoffs around a 4th or 5th seed.

Personally.. I hope we meet them in the playoffs. That would be epic.

He played in 70 games that year.

Yeah, but if memory serves correctly, he was injured to end the season as the Raptors were in the process of overtaking a playoff spot. Wasn't it like a cheek fracture or something that ended Bosh's season?

Bosh was cleared to play and refused to return. The Raptors fell out of the playoffs because Bosh decided not to return. They were almost assured to make the playoffs that year..

The point is that Bosh could have put them into the playoffs, he simply decided not to. You could make the exact same argument about Derrick Rose and LeBron James. What this says about Bosh's character is another argument. But I don't think it's accurate to suggest that Bosh's play kept them out of contention; in fact, the opposite is true, if he had decided to play, the Raptors would surely have went to the playoffs that year.

I honestly think, and I said this at the time, that Bosh had no desire to play in the playoffs for the exact same reason LeBron James's ElbowGate and his decision to quit against the Celtics. They knew they were leaving and had both feet already out the door.

"there's the possibility of Dwyane can return to where he was before he ceded a good part of his game to LeBron, and the same thing with Chris."

^^ The possibility that Wade returns to his game pre-LeBron is very slim. He has nowhere near the athleticism. Bosh on the other hand could have 20ppg again. I don't see how his rebounding numbers will increase though, did he cede his rebounds to LeBron?

Hey guys. If you want to hear salty listen to the 790 the ticket app. The morning show with Zaslow(possibly the biggest Heat Homer in the world) and Joy Taylor (Jason Taylor's little sister) are so hypocritical it almost can't be taken seriously. They constantly rip on northeast Ohio and in fact Joy and her brother Jason were on the air a couple weeks ago destroying the city of Akron. All this while hoping Lebron would re-sign with Miami. I can't help but think that the reason that lebron hasn't publicly thanked heat fans is because of the Hatred from heat fans for his hometown. They expect a thank you from lebron but in 2010 everyone down here in south Florida was screaming about lebron not owing the cavs fans anything. In their eyes they have the classiest organization and fans but then turn around and try to take a shot at Lebron with an ad in the plain dealer. (The idea was actually the morning shows, not Lebatards) Now they are really excited for the Lebron party in Akron because they say they have a BIG plan in the works to spoil the party and overshadow the actual reason for the party. Also listening to Lebatard I can't help but think that in some way Mickey Arison is contributing money to the top secret plan(although not publicly).
