Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Also @Maximus $65k to buy me out right now.

More profitable then your manufacturing business.

Okay, last number of the night before I go to bed.

As of right now, my first week, I will make around $118 an hour on just standard service charges. That's figuring 15-20 minutes a yard and I doubt it takes that long.

Yup. This was the right move.

wtf? Are you going to take those insults @natedagg? @The Oi just calling you out.
I just got shat on. This happens to me often. Sign me up for the weekly cleanup.

You don't need an LLC yet. Just be sole prop until $ is in your pocket. Then get biz license then worry about other stuff later.

Get your equipment like tomorrow. Start ASAP.

Get a Square Pay to process credit cards. Get a paypal account. I didn't read BK thread but you could put both in someone else's name. You might not want to BK either. I haven't read it, but if demand is strong, you might shut off some good avenues by slamming your credit.

We did 99designs for my side biz logo. It was great. I would use Hubers design, change out "poo" for whatever you want "pet waste" and keep going. You can redo that shit later. Same with biz cards - just get 200 biz cards and hand them out in less than a month.

Use google voice to get a "business phone". Forward that noise to your cell phone.

Your job is to keep the new customers going, and doing the poop scooping. Everything else is just in the way. All the shit I wrote above can be done in 1 day.

Spend all free time thinking about new client sources. I thought of HOAs, especially if they have a dog area. Anywhere w a dog area. Some apt complexes have dog areas too. Pitch daily cleanings to them if possible. Tell them you can install an area of short brush where dogs can be encouraged to shit and the owners wouldnt have to pick anything up. See what sticks.

FB page PROB more important than website. Obviously need both but build a biz FB page and get everyone to Like it. People judge by likes, so build your cred by having friends like your biz page. Website can be simple. Until $ is there just hurry and get it up.

So buy the equip and get $ coming in. If you need capital, just PM me for my # or put it in here if it's a question for everyone.

For the most part, I realize that I don't need an extreme amount of capital. Enough to buy a truck and a few tools + bags.

Right now I need to get ahold of the EPA to make sure I'm in compliance with transporting animal waste etc. There's a small business development center at the Kent Branch, planned on going over and talkign with them a few times as well.

FB page has gotten 104 likes in a little less than 30 hours. That's without asking anyone to share etc. Have a semi well known local page that's got about 2k followers going to give free advertising. If you read some of my earlier posts, I'm getting free advertisements from the local humane society shelter, some local vets, the local pet store, etc. I'm getting 50 free yard signs to be put out. 2 of the houses are on a high traffic high income area near the city park. There's talk of the city building a dog park soon, I've got contacts within the city.

I just can't physically start until June when I have my license back. Within a couple weeks of starting, I'll have the cash to buy a truck to use solely for the business.

*Edit* Just managed to snag the only local number that Google Voice had for my zip code. Fuck yes. None of this stupid new (234) area code bullshit like so many other businesses are getting stuck with.

Also, if you've heard about the Ashpoopie.. It looks like the greatest investment I could ever make in this business.

I just noticed you're in New Philly. My best friend from my college days is a magistrate in New Philly. Small world.

I think this will work out great for you as your sign ups are indicating. The only thing that really came into my head is what will you do when it starts snowing? As a dog owner I really only care about the poop scoop during spring and summer when I am using the yard. Just something to think about.

Thanks for the generous offer...I'll consider it.

(((Sips coffee...looks at Gulf of Mexico...thinks about shoveling dog poop in February or any month for that matter)))

Thought about it. No thank you, I'm good.

ps - Use Oxo-biodegradable plastic bags. Do goose poop removal too.

I'll still offer winter service. If not, I can always shut down shop for the winter and charge a nice spring cleanup fee when the weather breaks.

You can clean dog shit in the winter. Run specials each time there's a melt.

That runny, wet shit in a wet yard is the worst kind to clean.

Get emails like a motherfucker in that case because it'll be super easy to shoot that email out the minute the weather's about to clear for a couple days.

There's also times where the shit collects on top of the snow for a few days but noone wants to wander Out in the snow.

You could send out an email whenever it's been super cold for a few days without relenting, such that you know the conditions are ripe for some surface snow shits that it's too cold for people to go get.

This is actually a good idea. There's a definite problem and you're offering a solution at a reasonable cost.

Good luck and fuck off you weak ass faggot.

Love you too cocksucker. Initial projections are going to be pushing almost $2000 a week gross...

At 52 weeks, that's a $100k year to clean up dog shit. I don't feel that's realistic or sustainable initially even if the numbers are there to say it's possible.

I won't believe it til I do taxes that say I pulled it off.

But... 6 figures for cleaning dog shit? Is it really that easy? Apparently so.

In addition to new business, maintaining current clients will be key...

Lace some doggy treats with MiraLax and leave them in the yard before you leave each job.
