He got banned from the league because of that obvious show of Bias. Reinstated a year later. Total BS.

not only that, crawford admitted to having to go see a sports psychologist to deal with anger issues. of course, all that happened is that david stern tightened the noose on the ability of players and coaches to criticize refs in-game, and crawford continued his shitty officiating with no real fear of reprisal.

Anyone with more experience than me have any strong feelings about today's officials?

Danny Crawford, Marc Davis, Sean Wright

I think these guys have pretty middle-of-the-road stats in terms of slightly favoring the home team and not calling a lot of fouls, so I don't expect anything especially odd with them.

Danny Crawford and Marc Davis (and Bennett Salvatore) reffed our 2nd game against Boston. Glancing at the box score it was fairly even. I don't remember it being badly officiated, so there's that.

My hope, and it's probably naive of me to hope this, is that since Noah showed up twice on the ref review for an illegal screen and a travel, they'll actually catch him for those this game. It's really annoying that he's committed about 20 travels in this series and I don't think one has been called. I couldn't even venture up a guess as to how many illegal screens he's set.

And Danny Crawford and Marc Davis are both from Chicago, Illinois.

Damn near every one of them. Moving, pushing defender with both hands, standing out of bounds. Most screens in this league could be considered "moving", but I don't understand how he constantly gets away with everything. It's insane.

The Noah out of bounds illegal screen was so obvious it was painful they didn't call it. Watching the replay, the only good was that it was so missed they didn't have the opportunity to call Delly for contact with Rose. That was also caused because Noah kept moving further out of bounds during the screen.

In fairness, Moz moves a bit on screens and uses his hands, but he keeps them high where they can be seen. Watching the first couple of games of the Hawks/Wizards series and their moving screens are ridiculous. Both sides. Horford probably averaged 10 feet covered on a screen. Same with Gortat.

Noah hides his arms low and ties people up with them. Remember Delly getting called for being tied up with Noah on a screen set by Noah? Why the heck would Delly want to hold on to Noah? He was trying to fight through to follow the guard and there's no advantage to holding Noah at all, the entire advantage was to Noah so that the guard could get space on Delly, and they called Delly for a hold.

Yeah that's my point. Noah gets away with that shit repeatedly. Blows my mind.

To bump this, I'd like to point out that we got screwed by refs in last night's game, despite the narrative being that Foster was going to carry us to a win.

Also, Ed Malloy is reffing the game tonight, so it should at least be a few more days before we see him again. I've been more frustrated by him than any other official this post season, which is saying something with Joey Crawford still being in the league. Now that I've said that, Joey will clearly be leading the crew tomorrow.

Fwiw I think err 14-3 in our last 17 with Crawford

Fwiw over that stretch, the team has likely lost last than 15 games total, including the two we gave Boston. This team has been on a real run. 9-2 in the playoffs.
