Yes or no?

Definitely would.

I expect to see the Joey Crawford crew in the next round.

I like how the refs in the Boston series were so accustomed (ordered?) to look the other way when Boston fouled that Stevens had to yell at the refs on one play when his player was trying to hack-a-Tristan.

I must not get what the job of the referee is. I was always under the assumption that a ref was there to protect the NBA's multi million dollar investments. Yet in the same game, two players got hurt on complete non basketball plays.

If the refs in game 4 had done their job, Crowder doesn't get hurt, JR doesn't get suspended, and Love doesn't get hurt. Injuries in sports happen, but generally not on non basketball plays. If a guy blows his knee on a dunk, nobody is at fault. If a guy wrecks his shoulder because another player put him in an arm bar, it's not the players fault, it's the refs.

How about the play last night in the closing seconds with Crawford of the Clippers? I wanted the Clips to win but not because the refs were bad. Geezee. Crawford took about 6 steps without dribbling. Seriously. It's called traveling most times. Nothing called, and then Crawford was fouled and made both shots to seal the win. Anyone have a video?

You mean the play Tim Duncan shoved him 6 feet? There's a reason they didn't call a travel, they would have had to call Timmay for a blatant foul. (This was Chris Paul on a rebound, I misremembered)

EDIT: I looked it up on Youtube. He caught the ball with one foot on the ground, brought his second foot down, hopped onto both feet, which would let you establish a pivot foot with either foot if he wouldn't have brought the second foot down. He then pivoted on his left foot. It definitely was a travel, but I've seen a lot worse not called a travel. Also hard to call a travel with a guy blanketing him.

Crappy quality:

It's the trickle down effect, they see their boss shove bias treatment onto teams and they expect its the norm.

Let's get this straight, Matt Barnes is fined $50K for lewd language directed at a fan who happened to be Harden's mom and Joakim Noah actually shoved a fan in game 2 and got half of that a $25K fine.

Where is the justice? How is language doubled in cost to an actual physical altercation, especially with a fan? I understand Barnes is a repeat offender but at this point, the league and this ball-less Silver are too afraid or just to inadequate to hand out punishment fairly.

This cat will do nothing ground breaking in this league, he was handed the Sterling ordeal on a platter and now it shows where is true intentions lie.

That was an utter disgrace. And so much for superstars getting preferential treatment, ours certainly dont!! Not that I even want that, just games officiated fairly would be nice.

I cannot believe how blatantly he refs just tried to fuck us.

keeping blowout from happening is one thing, but thyre flat out altering outcomes of games.

They suck. They have anti Cleveland agendas. there's no way around it. I don't know which NBA execs daughter got the pipe from J.R., but the refs literally don't officiate us fairly. LBJ should shoot 25 FT's a game this series.
And I can't believe all the calls the Bulls get. Rose and Butler get every call. Kyrie finally got some today, but him and LeBron both can't buy a call.

I mentioned this in the Lebron thread but if I was Blatt id take the fine to rip the officiating on James and the screens.

He can go totally Phil Jackson with it and say something along the lines of how he should prepare for a Euro Cup instead of the NBA playoffs with the way the screens are being called
