I was never scared of Washington. Just think of the matchups…

Kyrie = Wall
Smith < Beal
Love > Nene
Moz = Gortat
Lebron >>>>> Pierce

Their bench is probably a little better, but we honestly probably have the advantage at coaching. Wittman is Potato Head level bad.

For all that talk after their hot start to the season, Washington is once again coming back down to earth as a middle seed.

Toronto is slumping and getting back to their normal levels.

Chicago is banged up badly. Even if Rose and Butler come back before the postseason, will they be able to knock off the rust in time to make a playoff run? Would they be able to beat Atlanta in a seven game series?

Indiana is playing very well but I'm honestly not scared of them in a seven game series, not with a very rusty (if he even returns to the court this year) Paul George and without Lance Stephenson. They're good defensively, but you can't trust them to score enough to be able to win, and sometimes relying on your defense isn't enough.

By the way (and this is completely unrelated), four of the top eleven teams in opponent points per game are in the Central Division. As soon as Detroit is able to get back to respectability, it will be right up there with the Southwest Division as the toughest in the NBA.
I think a huge reason for the down then for Washington was losing Beal for so many games. They will be a tough out in the playoffs.

I would love if Milwaukee slips into the 7th seed....

Been against Washington all year but they're playing well with beal back..five and one I think

Dang it! We needed the Pacers to keep on winning! No excuse for losing at home to Boston!

I was high on Washington before the New Year; but they've been AWFUL lately. Can't take them seriously anymore.

Ever since we beat the shit out of them, coming out of the All-star break, they haven't been the same. I think we did something to them. I think we traumatized them. They play scared now.

Just saw this: since the Reggie Jackson was traded to Detroit, the Pistons are 1-10 since the trade.

They have lost ten straight.

Apparently the best recipe for beating the Pistons is to put a selfish, inefficient chucker on the team and let him go to work.

They offloaded Josh Smith and brought in Josh Smith Jr.

I think Charlotte could give us a tougher series than Indiana to be honest. If Al Jeff comes back at least. Mo has been playing out of his mind, Kemba is coming back, they match up decently, and maybe the playoffs will elevate Lance's game.

Miami could even give us more problems than Indiana if Wade is at the top of his game and Whiteside goes beast mode. Only way Indiana becomes tough is if George comes back and provides an emotional lift. Otherwise, I think Charlotte and Miami could be tougher than Bucks or Pacers. Bucks never should have gave up Knight.

Tight game in OKC if anyone's interested. Go OKC, beat those Bulls.

In a perfect world, Bulls lose, Raps win, Cavs win, and then the Raps lose to Indy tomorrow.

Why?

So they can get the 3 seed. They're barely above the Bulls at this point. It's time to think about playoffs seeding, and playing the Raptors in the second round is a lot more favourable than playing the Bulls.

True, but I want that 2nd seed secured ASAP so that we can rest players later on before the playoffs, and right now Raps are still a threat to our 2nd seed.
