Post Draft advice-Fantasy Football

RG3 is a must start over Cam Newton in my opinion.

The Lions definitely have a better secondary than the Giants, but RG3 can make better plays down field than Newton can. Newton will put up points, but ultimately Griffin will need to keep airing it out to make it a game with the way their defense has performed so far this season.

It sucks when you have both RG3 and Newton, because this is one of those weeks where you should start Newton.. But, RG3 has had 300+ yard games in his first two starts, and he will for sure be likely to throw it more.

Also for what it's worth, my weekly fantasy guide gave Newton a 3 star and RG3 a 4 and a half. But again, I usually take those worth a grain of salt.. Until they're correct, of course. :chuckles:

Better flex option today: Steve Smith or Stevie Johnson? Got Johnson in the slot right now, but leaning toward Smith because of how bad the Giants secondary has been. Then again, the Bills are playing the dumpster fire that is the Jets. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!

I would start either one now that we know Gronk isn't playing and we saw the Bucs keep Brees under wraps the last game. Now which one to start is a toss up.

I seem to be the only idiot on the internet that thinks Flash Gordon is going to be a top 20 receiver this week. I think he is going to get a ton of targets. But, I also know that it is risky going against the 99% of prognosticators. I may just stand down and bench Gordon.

I didn't trust Buffalo at all this year. The defense can't stop the run and they have a shaky rookie starting at QB. When Bilal Powell can rack up 140 yards rushing on you, you have a tankatronic outlook on the year.

Yea i was banking on the fact that he was going to step up being the focal point of the offense ... I was wrong :chuckles: ,im just lucky I was able to get Reggie Bush in the later rounds so hes my #2 Rb and also pick up Joique Bell via waiver wire so i'm not in terrible shape.

RG3 had that long touchdown taken away from him, otherwise he would have had a pretty solid day in terms of fantasy. Tony Romo shined, and so did Newton.. I didn't expect Newton to score as much he did, however.. Giants weren't even out there today.

Anybody else have Colin Kaepernick? I know I needed him to get me at least 15 or so points to put away my cousin this week.. He goes out and gives me 4. He's been a bust for sure.

I saw some warning signs from Kaepernick last season. He doesn't have very good vision of the whole field, locks in on his first option then takes off running. Vince Young had the same problem, now he is out of the league. I think Kaepernick can get better, but I happily decided not to draft him this year.
