Post Draft advice-Fantasy Football

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm at work and incredibly bored today, so here are my week eight waiver claims:

League 1 (currently 2-5):
Add Mike James; Drop Bilal Powell
Add Kendall Wright; Drop Andre Ellington
Add Nick Folk; Drop Adam Vinatieri (bye week)
Notes: I refuse to use an extra roster spot on a second kicker in this league where kickers score very few points (7 or 8 is considered a great week). Mostly just bolstering my bench. Despite my awful record, my starters are pretty good and I just put up 166 points to lead the league this week.

League 2 (currently 4-3):
Add Darren McFadden; Drop Chris Ogbonnaya
Add Mike James; Drop Ben Tate
Add Jake Locker; Drop Miles Austin
Notes: This is a no flex league and my two starting backs are Lynch and Charles, so just trying to shore up my RB bench guys. Didn't currently have a back-up QB for RGIII and Locker has been putting up downright elite fantasy numbers this year, plus Austin has been fucking awful.

League 3 (currently 5-2):
Add Jordan Reed; Drop Coby Fleener
Add Mike James; Drop Bilal Powell
Add Marvin Jones; Drop Mike Williams
Notes: Another no flex, three WR league. My TE Bennett is on bye week and so was Fleener, so a new TE was required. Powell is losing touches to Ivory and Williams is just bad. I picked up Percy Harvin off of waivers last week, so I'm hoping he can be a starter in a couple of weeks.

League 4 (currently 4-3):
Add Denarius Moore; Drop Jason Snelling
Add Panthers D; Drop Texans D
Notes: Snelling is looking to go back to being the second or third back option and the Texans are a raging dumpster fire on both ends of the field. And to think, before the season started I was pumped to have snagged both the Broncos and Texans' defenses in my league's auction. FML.

Go start a fantasy journal.

I was offered

Foster, Romo & Shorts for Blackmon, Spiller and Cameron

(I have clay coming through another trade so he would be my starter at TE)

I'd have bush and foster @ RB

FLip between romo and stafford at qb

Would start Dez and Gordon atWR

guys guys guys i have a trade proposal, this would be my first fantasy trade and i'm nervous because everything i do is wrong

my team:

QB stafford/vick
RB foster/moreno/ridley/mcfadden
WR aj green/gordon/mike wallace/james jones
TE jordan reed (I look like a genius for this)
D/ST browns/pats

his team:
QB ryan/pryor
RB forte/spiller/mike james/donald brown
WR megatron/cruz/torrey smith/steve johnson
TE olsen/clay
D/ST chiefs

trade proposal is wallace and mcfadden for charles clay and torrey smith

he's pretty desperate for RB help obviously, especially with forte on bye this week. wonder if i could get the chiefs D...lol

I would do it.
Cameron is a question mark now that we have retards heading QB..

Should I trade AP and Garcon for Wes Welker and C. Johnson?

alternately i could just pick up antonio gates and drop wallace

WR Josh Gordon
WR Jarrett Boykin
TE Jordan Reed

Pick one, standard. The whole Campbell-Gordon unknown thing has me uneasy. I've got 6 players on a bye this week so I don't have many options.

need help with my flex position this week:

Justin Blackman @ 49ers
Steven Jackson @ Cardinals (coming off injury)
Josh Gordon @ Chiefs
Mike James (doug martin backup) @ panthers
Chris Ivory @ Bengals
Lance Dunbar @ Lions

I have Mike James in there now. chris ivory had a good game sunday although it took him over 30 caries to get 100 yards. not sure how I feel about gordon and blackmon they each have tough matchups. leaning towards james and ivory.

is mike james available in your league? he's doug martins backup and with martin being out could be a good pickup for your flex play. I picked him up thisweek when martin went out.

I like Jordan Reed, really seems to be coming on in WAS

I have zero faith in McFadden's ability to remain healthy.. So this isn't a bad deal, as you get Smith who is a better option in fantasy than Mike Wallace. If you could get him to toss in KC's defense(or basically swap each others), then it's even better.. Your starting two backs are obviously going to be Foster and Moreno moving forward.. So, McFadden is expendable.

WR Jarrett Boykin
TE Jordan Reed

I feel your pain on the byes, but I started Gordon anyway considering the talent level.

Gordon can either get you 20 points or 4 points this week, but against a tough defense like KC.. You just don't know. Out of those three options, I may lean towards Reed just because he's hot right now.

Basically..
Gordon: Upside, big play potential.
Reed: Safer bet.
Boykin: Boom or bust.

First things first, you're basically looking at Gordon, Blackmon, and Steven Jackson.. Mike James isn't a bad start, but not over those three guys.

I think you toss out Gordon due to the bad matchup and questionable quarterback play from Campbell this week.. I think you roll with Blackmon just because he's the best thing in Jacksonville and their main offensive weapon. He'll see good coverage, but the ball will obviously be thrown his way.

Also, bonus nugget: Fantasy points in London are ridiculous high. So I cleared my benches in all my leagues with players playing there this week.

Now, I've been kicking myself at work all day today as my boss yelled at me because I didn't know if I should wait on Joesph Randle to be named the starter for my 2nd RB position, or just play it safe with Mike James tonight. I have Witten and Romo going already, along with Dan Baily at the kicker position.. Seems like I'd be tossing all my eggs into one basket.

I'm targeting Andre Brown of the Giants in free agency. Better to be a week early than a week late for a workhorse back!

Good call. I got 2 free spots 1 of which is picking up T.Y Hlton & now i know what the 2nd is

Start one, sit one:

Colin Kaeprenick vs Jags

or

Matt Ryan vs Cards

Leaning towards Kaep due to his utilization in the read option last week. Maybe he's about over that foor injury/hangnail?

Need advice.

If you are ever going to start Kaepernick over Ryan, this is the week. That said, know you are benching the guy who is a plug and play starter for the boom or bust player. You can invest in a T Bill or invest in a risky startup tech company. It depends upon your style...
