I'll use the Top 10 free agents listed on MLBTradeRumors.com. Bonus point - guess one player the Indians will sign.

1. Max Scherzer
2. Jon Lester
3. James Shields
4. Hanley Ramirez
5. Pablo Sandoval
6. Victor Martinez
7. Yasmani Tomas
8. Melky Cabrera
9. Russell Martin
10. Nelson Cruz

My predictions:

1. Yankees
2. Red Sox
3. Cubs
4. Blue Jays
5. Giants
6. Tigers
7. Phillies
8. White Sox
9. Dodgers
10. Mariners
11. Indians sign Corey Hart (I expect a move with bigger impact via trade)

1. Max Scherzer -- Dodgers
2. Jon Lester -- Yankees
3. James Shields -- Royals
4. Hanley Ramirez -- Dodgers
5. Pablo Sandoval -- Giants
6. Victor Martinez -- Yankees
7. Yasmani Tomas -- Cubs
8. Melky Cabrera -- Blue Jays
9. Russell Martin -- Dodgers
10. Nelson Cruz -- White Sox

1. Max Scherzer - Angels
2. Jon Lester - Cubs
3. James Shields - Cubs
4. Hanley Ramirez - Dodgers
5. Pablo Sandoval - Giants
6. Victor Martinez - White Sox
7. Yasmani Tomas - Yankees
8. Melky Cabrera - Tigers
9. Russell Martin - Dodgers
10. Nelson Cruz - Mets

Indians make no significant 40-man additions unless it's a bullpen guy. In which case I'll guess Mike Adams.

Get Victor out of the Central if we're not signing him, ffs.

I hope you're right AMC... The Tribe still need real power, but Victor is a solid and reliable bat. If there's one thing I'm confident in it's that the Indians will probably get pitching help, albeit probably not headline grabbing.

Vic isn't coming back here. He is lining up to sign his last big deal, probably around 4 years/60 million. Take the name out of the equation and ask yourself if it makes any financial sense for a team with a payroll under 100m to be committing 15m a year for the next 4 to a 36 year old strict DH. Who has had multiple surgeries on his knees. And is coming off a career year at 35. Let the Yankees or Tigers, one who doesn't care what they spend and the other who is mortgaging the future to win now, make that deal. If it was one-two years I could see it but not at what he is going to command in terms of years.

I think Alex Rios is a real possibility and a good bounce-back candidate. I would also welcome a Bourn/Edwin Jackson trade. Jackson has always had an outstanding arm, I would like to see what Calloway and Co. could do with him especially if it is swapping salaries.
