Progressive Field Renovations Planned Over 2 Years

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You would like nuts.

Do people remember when the Jake actually had good, premium all beef hot dogs? Ever since they made the switch to the dollar dog meat full time, it's been awful.

As long as there are concession stands with nachos near every section, I'm good. Don't care about anything else.

I struggle even getting some decent nachos there anymore. Maybe it's just bad luck, but I have gotten nachos two times this year... Once the chips weren't even edible they were so stale. I never take/send food back, even at restaurants, but I had to. It was that bad... The second time, the fucking nacho stand runs out of cheese. Why? Because complete idiots work at the Prog. How the fuck do you run out of cheese at a nach stand? The best part is that it was like the 2nd or 3rd inning. The people are the dumbest of dumb. So I waited around and got some cold ass cheese with my nachos.

I used to love their hot dogs. Now I refuse to eat them. I have gotten moldy buns, rock hard buns, bright neon orange tips on the dogs, white tips on the dogs, bones or some sort of hard substance in the dogs. It's fucking disgusting.

Now when I go to a Tribe game, I just make sure I stuff my face before going in and then maybe grab some peanuts from someone outside the stadium.

I'm always down for upgrades to anything downtown. Keep building and hopefully this City finds itself in a popular niche, rather than the desolation of an old, blue collar steel town.

Well over due. As of last year they still had analog tv's in the concession area that were non HD. Pathetic for 2014.

I still want better signage in the upper deck. And maybe some fucking ushers. Sitting in right field for the first time in a long time since I'm sick of people having no clue up there.

I eluded to these changes a while ago during an attendance debate, the reduction of seats is a long overdue project this team has needed to work on.

I'm not sure what exactly will be going into that vacated space, but they need to think long and hard about the viability of a "social media area" in the long term. I'd imagine that would be pretty obsolete in a few years.

Either way, I'm glad this is finally underway.

Damn, really? I wouldn't know, I never get food at ball games unless it's dollar dog night.

Goodness. That is horrible. Never eat the stadium hotdogs. The Jake was my first job, I know how and where they keep those dogs.
Last year, I was in the Social Suite and got to go to the media lunch room. All the food was horrible. Reghi sitting there, eating that disgusting food. I was so disappointed.

They definitely need to step up the quality of food within the ballpark.

Having been to 21 parks now, I can honestly say Cleveland ranks well toward the bottom in terms of food.

The few others I haven't been to (Seattle, Miami, Colorado especially) are known to have some pretty amazing food options as well.

So is this still going to be announced today, or... :chuckles:

I don't think they said "social media" areas - I think they just said "social" - which is probably a nice way of saying bars.

Also - first phase of this is all privately funded. Just throwing that out there.

Press conference starts at 11AM, airs live on STO, WTAM, and Indians.com.
