Progressive Field Renovations Planned Over 2 Years

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Hopefully this giant bar includes some decent beer options, especially local ones (Great Lakes, Fatheads, etc.)

When your best beer option outside of Bud/Miller/Coors is Leinenkugel... you're doing it wrong. This is primarily why I've enjoyed venturing up to the Terrace Club during games in the past. Way better food and way better beers.
I cannot agree more. Make a deal with Great Lakes to serve's Cleveland's finest at Cleveland's summer pastime.

They've sold Great Lakes for at least the past two years. Not sure what you guys are talking about.

Maybe that's the problem. I haven't been to a game since the 2013 home opener. I remember there being one small Great Lakes kiosk near the entrance, but as far as having their beers available at multiple concession stands... I don't recall that being an option.

Surely Great Lakes beer being available all around the ballpark would bring everyone back.

I love going to the Tribe games... regardless of beer options, play on the field, who our owner is, etc. Just difficult these days with work and living in Toledo now. When I lived in Cleveland in 2010-11 I went to 20+ easily, and those teams were hot garbage for the most part.

Still... there's always room to enhance the fan experience. Improving the beer and food options is a good start.

Looks like the Saturday games will be starting at 4:05p and Mon-Wed games at 6:05 for April and May.

Probably to combat cold temperatures by having more of the games being during daylight hours. Also nice for people with kids who can't last till 10pm for games.

But will be a nightmare for traffic, hard for people to get downtown from work in time, and really hurt local restaurants since people will probably eat at the park or not have time to drink a beer before the game.

All 2,00 of them? They did this for the players convenience not the fans knowing fans don't show up when it's cold.

I highly doubt this was a move done without consulting the teams season ticket holders. And as you noted these are the sparsely attended games of the year anyway. And traffic can't be much of a nightmare when everyone if leaving downtown then, not trying to get in.

Those 6:05 start times are going to be super strange. I guess I can count on not getting to any weeknight games for the first couple of months.
