Just saw Gravity. In 3d too. Wow was it horrible. I can't believe everyone was saying it was so good.

Sunshine 9/10

Moon 9.5/10

Sleepwalk with me 8/10. This is mike birbiglias movie and I really enjoyed it.

Best Man Down 8/10

I've been watching this series called foyles war.

It's like a series of movies set in ww2 Britain. Focuses on a detective and crimes based around the circumstances of war like dissenters and profiteers while mixing in little historical tidbits about the war. Really good twists and stories, but the pace has made it tough for me to watch one without falling asleep.

Halloween (The original). 9.5/10. I've watched it around 15 times and it's still the greatest horror movie of all time imo.

Took a study break and decided to watch Platoon -- This was the first time I've seen the movie. My father would always mention how great he thought Willem Defoe was in this movie. 8.5/10 -- Charlie Sheen was really good in this, especially towards the end.

Adagio for Strings is one of my favorite string quartet pieces.

Thanks Jigo.

One of my favorite films of all time with possibly one of the most underrated actors in it of all time...my man Tom Berenger. Great actor.

Ghostbusters - because I haven't seen this movie since it came out. It's interesting to go back and get a different perspective of a movie after so many years have passed. "He just popped in there" :chuckles:

I remember watching the cartoon, faithfully. This was one of my favorite cartoons growing up.

Ernie Hudson does not age.

r

really that good?

So good that I am going to go see it again for the second night in a row lol.

If you're into the Jackass movies and stunts like that, it's a must see.

The trailer doesn't even show some of the best parts, unlike most comedies.

Hangover part III...meh, it was okay. Some funny moments...that's about it.

I bought Pacific Rim right away without seeing it. It's got so much hype, I have a feeling it's going to be a good one. I rarely buy movies without seeing them first.

No wonder it took me so many years to watch the movie "Heat" (De Niro/Pacino)-- 3 hours is a long time. I would catch it here and there, but never made it the entire way through.

I liked De Niro in this more so than Pacino. Not really sure why. I think Pacino yells a lot more than I would like. "Great Ass!" etc. De Niro is just smooth to me.

I guess I'd rate this a 6.5-7/10

side effects 8/10
this was crazy but so good. can't go much further without spoiling, but watch it.

the kids are all right 7.5/10
nice twist on a typical family drama and it really delivered. loved the stars - esp ruffalo and moore (also god is she sexy for 50+). the ending was a bit of a letdown, but still a worthwhile watch overall

also, new wolf of wall street trailer. so pumped for this
