Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Tried watching The Man of Steel more than once. Within the first 2 minutes, I realized that it was garbage. Casting was all wrong. The script wasn't great either.

I waited for it to get better, and it never did. Old school Superman was the best. Give me Christopher Reeve/Margot Kidder and the crappy special effects of the late 70's than this weak writing of the same story over and over. I don't care that the special effects were really good, that movie was pathetic.
-3/10

100% agree.

The 3rd act is basically 9/11 times 15 on the town of Metropolis

Anchorman 2. 1/10

Horrible. Might have laughed one time. Just awful.

Agreed. Just seemed like they were trying too hard the whole movie. Kinda sad, really.

They used your house in Captain America? That's pretty fucking awesome.

It was pretty surreal to say the least. About a year ago to the day. I guess the disclosure is over so I can finally post these:

Draft Day 7/10

9/10 for Browns fans. I enjoyed the workings of it all. Not sure how realistic it is, but I enjoyed it.

Mind you it was a fucking zoo outside our house, so I can imagine why the actors kept to themselves. Every person from the city tried to get in and take pics. Hell, some chick got a pic w me cause i was the guy who had the movie filmed in their house.

Mackey was awesome. Sweetheart of a guy, always making everyone laugh. Not that he deserves a medal for it but he always sat and ate with the production and crew members and not the cast members. Got to know the people from cleveland, etc. We got to eat with them every day they set up and filmed (flew in chefs from L.A. to cook). Only thing he said to me was "so how was it walking into your house and seeing pictures of a black dude all over the crib?"

Evans - kept to himself, didn't really talk to anyone outside of the film. Seemed like a himbo, nice but reserved. I know he went out a lot on 25th and talked to a lot of ppl. He actually stayed at one of my best friends house for 2 weeks. Buddy said he was really cool - found some pot left on the nightstand.

ScarJo - kept to herself but came off as extremely cunty. Overheard her saying, "God there is absolutely nothing to do here". I know she was staying at a house off Lake road, think in Bay.
My wife made eye contact with her and smiled, ScarJo didn't smile back and kept on walking, my wife pulled one of these out -

Most hot chicks in general are cunts. One that is famous is too, its almost impossible to avoid.

Hope you're watching in 3D.. It's really what makes the movie worth sitting there for 3+ hours. The latter half of the movie is good, but I agree, Jackson's storytelling does (and has always) seemed lazy. It seems he substitutes scope for script and direction.

His movies come off more like student plays at a poorly funded local community college rather than the theatrical works of an acclaimed director.

I think, looking back on his previous works which seem to exist in a previous universe, it's fairly apparent that he's not very skilled at his craft. At least, that's my take on it. He struck gold with Lord of the Rings, and stuck to the formula for what will be 6 successive times.

So while I feel the movies are visual spectacles it's the fact that I personally love the Hobbit and LotR books so much, I find it difficult not to enjoy the movies quite a bit. But maybe a great deal of that is solely because I love the source material and the world Jackson is putting on the screen, far more so than anything that can be attributed to Jackson himself.

Hell, the one thing he has done that is worth praise is that he has mostly left his own marks on the story completely out of the films (mostly), which I am very much grateful for.
I really hate that they stretched the Hobbit into three movies, they have added so much extra content to me it feels like killing time.

Just watched Oblivion finally I'd say 7/10 mostly from my low expectations going in. While it wasn't amazing it was better than how the critics rated it.

The end of The Hobbit was so long and drawn out. The Smaug monologue almost put me to sleep. Jeez o Pete. He talked for like 15 minutes. Fuck Peter Jackson and his money grab trilogy.

Chris Nolan really needs to make a movie a year. I'm tired of waiting 3 years for his epic films. Be a whore Chris. Be a filthy movie whore.

Just watched Anchorman 2. What a piece of shit. There were only 3 good things in this garbage movie.

kanYe
Big Willie
Marion Cotillard

I haven't seen the Hobbit, but the longest ending to any movie I've seen goes to Fast 6. The runway that the movie ends on had to be like 40 miles long.

Draft day 7.5/10
Very cool movie. Most of it in conference rooms and on the phone but it kept your attention throughout. Damn Arian Foster looked good in that orange and brown. :chuckles:

I watched Clerks II-- It's been years since I've seen this movie. Wanted to see if I would still find it as entertaining as I did the first time I saw it. There were elements in the movie that seemed extremely forced, but I guess they needed it to build the story. The funny banter was solid throughout.

Kinky Kelly cracks me up, every time. 6.5/10
