RCF Fantasy Hoops Vets League 2011-12

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
TJ would've taken Redd for sure.

Everyone is available

BTW...Spencer Hawes for Fantasy MVP :chuckles:

I see the new guy lucked into him. Or maybe it was part of a bold plan- I dunno.

Tough break on Randolph there. :eek:mg:

Ginobli and Stephen Curry probably 2 other biggest injury busts.

Oh yeah, Brook Lopez too.

luck? LUCK!!?? Haha, can't say i expected this from him, I took him just as a flier remembering that he showed a lot of potential two years ago, and sometimes those fliers pan out.

I'd just like to laugh at whoever owns Zach Randolph and didn't snatch up Speights the minute the trade went down. Thank you.

Fellow vets in in the vet's league,

My team has gotten off to a terrible start. That is a given. Please do not think this is an invitation to offer me terrible trades that a fifth grader would know are lopsided. I'm still the same guy who has usually done well in this league.

I haven't suffered a severe blow to the head or caught an assload of asperger syndrome. So please, stop offering your 8th round pick and a few guys you plan on cutting soon for two high picks I made just three weeks ago. It's wasting everyone's time.

Thanks,

~Keys

Yeah, sorry. I have another money league and the team is actually doing well. :chuckles:

I've been paying minimal attention to my RCF fantasy team, as every time I check there seems to be some new dumpster fire. So I guess the newest one is that Speights is replacing Randolph? Oh well...

At least I don't have him in the other league. I find it easy to give up on the RCF team when it sucks. Even easier than the Indians.

You're not the only person that has gotten some strange trade requests. MarShon Brooks for Delfino? Really? He's my baby Kobe I picked up off the scrap heaps. I want meaningful rookies. Wish this was a friggin keeper league. Irving, Thompson, Brooks? SET!

I've gotten no trade requests. Yet, I set my lineup through mid-January and haven't checked my team cuz of travel...lol.

Anyone offered me shit for gold?

Apparently people do not think delfino is valuable in any way, this has been duly noted and he will not be offered again. For the record though, one never knows how someone is valued until such offers are made. At least by yahoo's standards, delfino's stats for the year rank around 103, while brooks is 74. Also Chandler for horford was part of that deal, the idea being that chandler is playing better than horford (which he is right now) and you are paying for that upgrade by downgrading from brooks to delfino.

Now, you gave me a very good reason for turning down the trade (chandler injury risk), but it was entirely possible that you would think chandler will continue his beast mode and would be willing to 'downgrade' to delfino in order to 'upgrade' horford.

My offer to Keys was not as good i agree, but i am actually quite high on Tyrus Thomas, which Keys is apparently not. Fair enough, and i won't offer the same trade again, but again i didn't know he thought tyrus thomas sucks donkey balls until he told me so. Now i know Keys is not looking to desperately change his team, and that he doesn't like borderline fantasy starters as trade pieces. Is that info worth 5 minutes of my time and 1 minute of his? I think so. If i offer him a similar trade a second time, then i'm wasting time.

Carlos Delfino is your 10th rounder who is getting some playing time right now, but plays the same position as the healing Dunleavy, Mbah a Moute, and Jon Lauer. Of course, you also know that he is about to drop back to earth under a coach in Skiles who juggles lineups, which is why you are offering him in trades for people's 7th and 8th rounders.

So basically, everyone has called you on your bullshit. Now make better offers, and try doing it via PMs so we can negotiate.
