RCF Redraft Free Agency Period

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I tried using the legacy draft class, but doesn't work so well if you do it in 2018 and don't change the dates. Ewing won the ROY at the age of 54 iirc. All of them retired the next year and moved to Florida.

All it takes is a good +13 bump the first year and a modest +5 the second +2 each of the subsequent yrs (he's only 23.... and an 81 with 100 dunk, jump & 3s, 94 inside & 92 spd)

This sim is worse than 2K with player projections if that's the case.

I can't speak for 2K.

+13 is a pretty extreme jump, but it's also for a 19 yr after 1st season. Those are the guys presumably with the most top end.

Will also so that big jumps adds a bit more flux, which for the teams in the bottom in a sim nobody is making money on might be more fun, if not entirely realistic.

Also, whenever James leaves Milwaukee after one season (if they don't make the playoffs).... you know where he goes....

I think the big jumps are a real strength of the sim. On one hand they seems unrealisitic but if you look back there are always 1 or 2 guys who make big jumps. Then like in the real NBA there are guys who never make the jump or slide backwards after their rookie year.

Having said that rookies tend to do better than veterans in the sim but i think thats due to a playability decision. All fans over rate draft picks and rookies so i tihnk th e game does too

2k is pretty bad.

Everyone in the league ends up being all star level.

I'm also in the market for floor spacing PFs. Pau Gasol and Serge Ibaka both interest me if their owners would like to make an offer.

Memphis posted an offer of Deron Williams Expiring Contract for Tony Parker.
deron doesn't expire until 2017. It would take a pick (i know we cant include) to swallow the year

While I have no one specific on the block and am not aiming to tank at all, my team the 76ers skews young and athletic. If you see a player on my roster above the age of 27, you can rest assured that for the right fair deal for both sides, that player is available.

Also, I have an exciting young starring PG who could explode if the sim believes he will improve his jump shot. I am happy with him but would be willing to deal him + others for an elite PG under 30.

That said, I enjoyed the draft process and am more than happy to just see how year one goes and how some of the development of the young guys unfolds. I don't have any obvious sure to blossom into high 70s and 80s players(like Wiggins, KAT, Porzingis) but I do have some young guys I like that I think will rise their rankings higher than expected.

Where can I find the complete draft

if he expired in 2016 I would have to resign him when I launched the league.

If you say he's expiring then I'll do the deal and cut him please

that's not accurate. a 2016 contract covers current year. 2017 will cover next year. DWill is on the books for 2 yrs, this yr & next. Most people are. Why there aren't very many FAs next year. James is one if I'm not mistaken.

That's what I thought. I remember being gutted. Torn deals off
