Just from what I've watched you seem to be able to hogtie guys after lassoing them.

Well I'll be playing the game in a little bit but how do you lasso them?

toadie...I figured out how to lasso and hogtie....you will have a mission with Bonnie to help her catch wild horses and she will give you a lasso to help you catch them with. So after that mission...you always have the lasso and that is what you use to hogtie a person. You lasso them, then go up and it tells you to press a button (x or y?) to hogtie them

Well...its in your same group of items as your guns...so you can just switch it as you switch a gun...then you just the LT on xbox (which i think you said you had ps3 for may be L2?) to aim and then the RT to throw it...It's hard at first...but you get the hang of it. The same goes for pretty much everything in this game. Even riding the horses was hard for me at first, but it was easy to catch on. I think it is a great game so far.

GOTY candidate and it's going to take an amazing game for it not to be. Absolutely stunning graphics and better than GTA style gameplay.

If you're on the fence, get off of it and buy this game. Now.

Gotta agree about Mass Effect 2 though, that game was just one big bucket of badass. One of my favorite of all time, and I wasn't even nuts about ME1.

GOTY? Alan Wake is better than Red Dead IMHO, but Mass Effect 2 has GOTY pretty much locked down.

Too bad your opinion isn't among the popular belief.

RDR has been getting much better reviews than Alan Wake.

Mass Effect 2 is worthy, but IMO, RDR is the best game I've played this year.

I think you're also forgetting God of War III though, because it's definitely a candidate, as is Heavy Rain.

However, RDR has to be the favorite right now.

God of War 3 was a great way to burn 10 hours but I will probably never touch that game a gain as epic as it was...

ME2 was just fucking incredible, I played it through twice and want to play through at least one more time.
