Round 2 Game 5 | Bulls (2-2) @ Cavs (2-2) | May 12, 2015 | 7:00 PM ET on TNT

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
For as lame as the Q is during the season (it's a lot of families, which isn't bad), it amazing during the playoffs. Been to two Cavs playoffs games in the Lebron era and I was blown away at the energy. Not even the same arena.

How patient do we have to be for a game 6 thread??

I can ban you until the game starts if it helps. :chuckle:

Game previews are typically available a few hours before the game starts. Sometimes earlier. No different in the playoffs.

Game threads take a lot of time to create, and even ones that don't have all the bells and whistles can be a few hours worth of work (I know as I've done them in the past).

Any OP of a game should get a thanks sent their way, because those very threads are what make RCF such a great site (and sometimes a bottomless pit of despair too).

This is not true. If there is a Game 7, it will be a Sunday NIGHT game on TNT, not on ABC at 3:30.
Where did you see that? Just wondering, since if the Clippers/Houston goes 7, I would expect them to have a later game than ours (time difference), and they usually like doing the Sunday 3:30 ABC earlier game, then on TNT 8:00 or whenever later game.

After hunting around, it lists TNT as the network showing a possible game 7. If they stick to that, or maybe shake things up and give TNT the early game, remains to be seen.

TNT showed a card last game and it said game 7 if necessary on TNT and a time TBD.

It has to do with the broadcast rights. TNT claimed 1st rights to any potential game 7 for all Eastern Conference Semi series, while ESPN/ABC has 1st rights to game 7s for any Western Conference Semi series, essentially serving as a potential lead-in to the exclusive coverage of the Conference Finals on their respective networks.
