Savannah not happy with LeBron's move to Miami

So true, in addtion whats best for the family is usually determined by members of the family not judgemental outsiders.

Damn man this protecting LeBron shit is getting older than talking about his dumb ass.

I honestly thought that was a non-protection comment, but maybe I was wrong?

I took it to mean he should have listened to his kids, thier mother and his mother instead of his LMR group and friends.

In girl speak I took it as, "He didn't ask me, he TOLD me and I'm forcing myself to find the positives so I can keep him and look supportive even though this is not what I want"

I think she knows she's on borrowed time once he sees the women in Miami and gets wrapped in the nightlife there and she's too smart to make any waves.

I think the comments that LeBron just keeps Savannah around because of the kids are a bit off-base...she's a close part of his "inner circle" and they care about each other a lot.

The problem in LeBron's case, can be described yet again by Dan Gilbert...

Some people think they should go to heaven but NOT have to die to get there.

LeBron probably thinks that as long as he brings home the presents and money and fame and keeps his penchant for cute blondes hidden at various off-site hotel rooms and apartments and houses club VIP areas, that he's doing nothing wrong and that it doesn't cheapen or lessen their relationship in any way.

LeBron is out of touch with reality because he's too intrigued by himself. He's a perfect cast study for narcissistic behavior, and we've seen it gradually build up little by little from when he was in high school.

The Sports Illustrated hype back when he was in high school probably didn't help much.

... or the $100 million Nike contract ...
... or the "king" nickname ...

Sadly, the media's just as guilty of inflating his ego as he is ..

With the divorce laws as they are in this country it doesn't make sense of any rich person to get married let alone married without an iron clad prenup.

All depends on your commitment to your spouse and your marriage.

Instead of a wife, a life partner, a best friend, and a true family ... he has a faithful sidekick, and a license to cheat.

She's wishing for a miracle, that's never gonna happen.
LeBron is keeping her exactly where he wants her.

Sounds exactly like what he did to Cleveland.

Funny, the only commitment LeBron has made in his life is to a white haired male, and a city he has no connection too. :chuckles:

I believe this is pretty much exact. She doesn't strike me as a dummy. She probably knows he's had others and will continue to do so. What i don't like is the idea of her sticking with him even though she knows he messes around. She can have the kids and also his money if she wanted it. I'd be getting out of the relationship real soon if I could give her advice. It's going nowhere. Knowing what we know now, it never was going anywhere.

James said "I will do what's best for my family".

James really meant to say, "I will do what's best for LeBron James."

I think he just misspoke. An easy mistake to make.

She probably makes a lot more pretending to be with him than she would if she was "officially" not with him.

^ No, he did say "LeBron James is going to do what's best for LeBron James." I will never forget that.

Savannah doesn't want to leave, and I'll tell you why:
It's not about the money. She loves him and does not want him to have some new chick on his arm.
So she let's the cheating "rumors" slide. Because it's better to be the one who gets to live in his house, than the one who has to be out of the hotel room early in the morning.

Savannah gets the perks.
She had 2 of his kids. This secured her future (financially).

In all honesty, she's just putting up with his bs the best she can. I don't know how any woman can put up with this new humiliation that he's put her through in that interview.

She's going to try her hardest to keep him with her... Don't be surprised if baby #3 isn't in the works.

You see, I really don't think she loves him, and if she does, it's a shame.

Either way, I think she's with him because she can make a lot more money while being "his", and at the same time not being too worried about what he's doing out there. I think they probably have a mutual agreement that she stays with him to make him look like a family man and not make his kids too fucked up, and he makes sure she's always happy financially.

They would both lose if they broke up. LeBron would get bashed even more about being an asshole, not raising his kids correctly and leaving them, etc, etc, ruining his image even more. Savannah would probably get a lot less money and be even less relevant.

As most people have already pointed out, she's an extremely high paid babysitter who he gets to call his girlfriend (or sidekick :chuckles:)

Their whole situation is really weird looking in from the outside. On one level I kind of appreciate that at least Lebron is honest about NBA life, and isn't marrying her just to break those vows like Shaq, Kobe, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan--so on and so forth.

On the other hand it's kind of icky that she's in a relationship of the kid popping variety, and is pretty much giving him license to cheat on her.

I suppose you just have to say that it is what it is.

If Savannah moved to Miami with him I assume that they have common law marraige unlike Ohio right? So no matter what she would be with him in Miami for 3 years out of his contract (4 guaranteed years). Why doesn't she move there then, because if she was smart she would. She would have half of a 50 million dollar mansion in Miami, half of a mansion in Akron, and half of one in Bath. Not to mention half of what is left of his money, so Savannah could make at least one hundred million by moving to Miami with him if they do have the common law laws. Then again if Miami does have those laws I imagine that is why LeBron made her stay in Ohio.
