Funny thing about this is, people in this thread were making cracks at being a 30 yr. old rookie QB. Weren't too far off when we drafted one who was 28. :chuckles:

If we had drafted Wilson, I'm almost 100% positive he wouldn't have worked out here anyway. Cleveland has a tendency to suck all of the potential out of young and promising players.

Kid had an impressive year and I love watching him, but I still think it's too early to say he's going to be a star. It's amazing what a full off-season of preparation for a QB can do for the league's defenses.

I don't necessarily think he's going to fall into the mediocrity territory, but he would be bucking historic odds if he continued to play anywhere near that level with his size. Here's hoping he does.
