Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Joe Torre and Terry Francona were fired, they must be terrible.

What with Corey's crater face and that 'yeah I'm a virgin, so what' attitude and appearance...I think he fits the slimeball mold as well.

Slimeballs are wealthy. Big Corz or Big-C if you will doesn't have a job.

I'm staying out of the personal stuff (don't see the point) but yeah, even the best managers of all-time have been fired. Tony LaRussa couldn't have won with those Nationals teams.

I don't get this slimeball moniker either. I'm not a fan of the front office, but they haven't done anything to be considered slimeballs. You say slimeball, I think John Calipari. That's a slimeball.

Call me crazy our outfield should go now Duncan in left, Choo in center, Damon in right

My bad, thought that response was from CavsFan.

No problem. For the record, the deal certainly has a high possibility of blowing up in the Indians' faces. However, Jeremy Sowers was once a "can't miss" prospect too. We really can't judge it until 5-6 years from now though.

You do know Damon has the worst arm in the history of baseball right? Might as well put a little leaguer in RF.

Pomeranz is twice the prospect of Sowers, and his stuff is off the charts in comp.

Barring injury, hell be just fine.

It'll be LF-Duncan, CF-Brantley, RF-Choo vs RHP, LF-Damon, CF-BRantley, RF-Choo vs LHP, with Damon getting some AB's at DH and maybe even 1B against RHP as well.

In a perfect world, Damon hits well, the Indians stay in contention, Hafner stays healthy, and Sizemore comes back on time and plays well in the 2nd half. Of course, also in a perfect world I would be rich and would have Derek Jeter's dating history.

I'm not saying Pomeranz isn't a better prospect than Sowers was...just illustrating that "can't miss" pitching prospects often "miss"...that's all.

He has that slicked-back greasy hair, the face of a beaver, and talks down to you whenever he can.

He can't be worse than Cunningham's 18-hopper to third base on Opening Day.

God, I hate Cunningham.

agreed the list of Indians prospects that never lived up to potential at the major league level is long

Pomerantz could well end up being the next Adam Miller

Baseball America rankings don't guarantee MLB success
