Sullinger vows to return next year

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'd believe Sully over Conley if that means anything. Will be great to see Sully and Williams together down low. Although I'd honestly rather just see Sullinger declare for the draft to help make the draft more deep and favorable for the Cavs.

1 more year for Sully

then hopefully Matta lands the next PF coming out of Columbus

Sully's dad said something like, "you can etch it into stone, Jared will be at OSU next year."

His twitter feed sounds like he is staying a few days after the game... And after what his father said, I believe it...

I'm ok with this. If he's got the potential we all think he has, he'll be even more NBA-ready next year AND the Cavs will be picking in the lottery again. This certainly won't end the debate about how well Sullinger will fare against NBA bigs, but it may give him a chance to get a bit more chiseled and get him used to working with a more toned, athletic and stronger body.

If Grant is as good as we hope he is...he can make this year's draft and next year's draft work with or without Sullinger in it.

It would be hard for Sullinger or his Dad to be more clear, and doing so multiple times, to be any more clearer than they already are. I honestly think they want a National title real bad. This may be a first for quite awhile with any player who could be a lotto pick.

OSU will be extremely deep next year. If Buford comes back as well, it will make things real interesting. For Matta especially. We'll see how well he can game plan each game as I think the lineup changes depending on the opposition.

If Williams is as good on defense and running the floor like everyone seems to say he is, the OSU front line could be totally dominate.

Honestly, it's going to kill OSU as a team to lose Diebler, he was absolutely lights out for about 95% of the season. But this team still has a lot of really good shooters. It will be real nice to see this team not live and die by the 3, so to speak.

With Sullinger and Thomas already there, and Amir coming in, this front-court has a very bright future going in to next season. Craft was a huge piece for us too and his defense and passing ability was phenomenal as a rookie... you can only look for him to improve next season. Hopefully Buford ends up staying with Sully, because if they both do... watch the F out.
