Team USA and FIBA 2014 World Cup

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I can tell for us to win comfortably were gonna have to hit our 3s

Good to get a sneak peek of how Kyrie will play with Lebron and love

Thompson is pretty useless when he isn't making threes and playing defense.

more than half of hardens points came from the line. that is fucking disgusting.

For all the shit we gave Harden he had a good game. 18 points on 3-7 from the field, 11-11 from the line. Great numbers. Still felt he could've passed more though..

And whoever said his game doesn't translate well to the playoffs and he doesn't draw fouls in the postseason was terribly wrong.

Harden stat wise played a good game but I just can't say a guy whose game is based on if refs want to give him a whistle had a good game. Dude had 18 points and only hit 3 shots. He's a master at drawing fouls and iv disliked his game ever since he joined Houston. He's a boring player to watch and he lives at the line.

Makes me not surprised when Houston fails.

It's cool for a player to be good at drawing fouls but homie drives just get fouled most the time. It pisses me off

I mistook the U17 final on ESPNU for tonight's game with the US pro squad, so I gotta watch the reairing on NBAtv in about an hour because my dvr had the wrong game on it

That was me with the rockets in the playoffs he is shooting 38% 26points on 20 shots. Those are just stats. when you watch the game 'eye test' you see his pathetic defense combined with his dribble for 20 seconds then pass to a teammate for a bad shot thus making his teammate look bad.

If Kyrie brings this type of floor game and maturity on a nightly basis this season ( I see no reason why he wouldnt with Lebron and other battle tested veterans) he could easily assert himself as a top 3 point guard in the league on the same tier as Chris Paul. The dude is going to have a field day picking apart defenses who are not tilting their defense toward him and now he is essentially a 3rd option who will rarely ever face a double team anymore

I was out with friends and didn't catch the game.

How did Irving and Varejao do? I can't find a box score for it.

Varejao played with a ton of energy and grabbed boards and scored some baskets.. Kyrie looked so smooth and in control and the best guard on the team...offense ran smooth with him at the point

Found this on the Wizards RealGM forum. Naturally, they avoided even mentioning Kyrie.

...You do realize that that is an elite NBA skill, right? You don't think he had a good game because he had 18 points on 8 shots?? Most players would KILL to be able to play with that kind of efficiency. NBA stat heads would be freaking out over stat lines like that. Knowing how to draw contact and do it consistently is something few NBA players do well, and the ones that do are often stars, because it's often the result of being smarter, quicker, or craftier than your defender in getting to your spot before he did.

Also, I hope you learn to like that style REAL quick because Lebron James and Dwyane Wade just won 2 championships together playing that way. Wade won a third on his own doing the same thing. Also Kyrie does the same thing, and it's what Dion has been trying to to every single game since he was drafted, and he may just succeed this year if he gets the respect from the refs that he should be. Oh, and Kevin Love isn't half bad at it either.

So, get used to it cause you're gonna see it a LOT over the next few years.
