Found this on the Wizards RealGM forum. Naturally, they avoided even mentioning Kyrie.

When Old Man Time takes the bite out of Lebron that knocks him off the top of the NBA mountain, my money goes on Anthony Davis as the next best NBA player.

AD runs the floor like a guard, he's a top level rim defender, solid rebounder, good shooting touch from mid-range to the rim, basketball savvy and 21 years old. Oh, and he plays hard.

Yes, better than Durant.

The only downside to having to catch the rerun on NBAtv is they spoil the score every 3 minutes with the ticker on the bottom, granted its a glorified practice.

With the little time Irving did see, I thought he shined on defense. He had like 3 defensive plays in a row and he sure did know how to find Davis on the fastbreak in poetic fashion.

I haven't seen it for myself, but my dad said scrimmage was pretty short. He said Kyrie didn't take any shots, but had about 5-6 assists in around 6 minutes. Rose didn't suit up. Was icing his knees...

Word of advice: Only watch games/scrimmages. Only things USA related worth watching imo.

Four of those 10 players will have to be let go Aug. 29, while the following six players appear to have secure spots as what Colangelo and Krzyzewski have consistently referred to as the "core players" of the squad: Anthony Davis, Derrick Rose, James Harden, Kenneth Faried, Steph Curry and Kyrie Irving.

Kyrie played well today. Didn't miss a shot. Interestingly, DRose didn't practice or play. He apparently has a sore knee. My guess is he either bows out or they cut him.

Once again the only scenario i would of advocated trading kyrie is if he didnt resign to a full length contract. to which he did.


but all these people can talk about Waiters starting but omg block him if he says Irving.. to me its the same thing. bth are NBA starters both are gonna play well off the bench if you put them in that position.
