The 2015 Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just a bunch of excuses for the real problem which is not having good baseball players on the team.
Yes, I thought about that and I somewhat agree. But it seems to me though that the supposed good hitters just don't care. They're going to get paid no matter what is the current attitude in my view and I'm not sure Tito will survive, which is a shame because he is a hell'uve a coach.

Who are they going to find that is better then Tito? Does anyone think he wants to play Bourn everyday? You think he is happy about being forced to play Swisher if he returns from injury? Is. Tito suppose to teach Santana to have a passion for the game? I just think Tito is actually the least one to blame out of Shapirio Antonetti and Dolan. I agree firing Tito is ediotic.

Why is Tito considered so good?

What has he done to prove himself to be such a great coach?

Yeah some of the Antonetti cheerleaders are grasping at straws in the Jerry thread. It is pretty sad.

How would you fix the team? And please don't offer generic things like "get a RH power bat" - names please.

There is a 0.000000000000000001 chance Tito gets fired. Ever. If Tito leaves, it will be because he retires or goes elsewhere (which probably doesn't happen unless Antonetti is fired).

This thing people have been saying across the entire forum, that everyone who supports something is a "homer" or "cheerleader" and everyone on the other side is a "hater" needs to stop.

First thing is I would eat Bourn and Swishers contract next year. Look it is time to move on with the last year of each contract. Second I would replace Antonetti. I don't know enough about assistant gms to know who I would target. I would try to find someone that has a good draft and development history from another franchise. I would put more of a premium on drafting position players. As soon as the players are ready I would bring them up so they develop quicker at the Mlb level. Not rush guys, but I would not be ultra conservative with bringing guys up. In terms of free agency, I would hope we could find more consistent contact hitters then a guy like Moss who we traded for. I don't expect them to build through free agency, but the decisions need to better when they do go after guys.

Would like to see a team that can mAke the playoffs 4 to 5 years in a row and win a World Series. That would be my goal. We have not made the playoffs two years in a row since John hart was in charge.

Royals been bad for a long damn time it seemed, and they turned in 3 exciting season's in a row, while we can't even turn 2 in a row. Just one every 6 years. 2001, 2007, 2013.

Yeah I'm jealous because it 's the Royals.

So, you're saying the Royals had an "exciting" 2013 by winning 86 games & finishing 6 games out of a playoff spot (7 back in division), but the Indians didn't have an "exciting" 2014 when they won 85 games & finished 3 games out of a playoff spot (5 back in division)?

I think he means three exciting seasons as in they started with the 86 games and have improved significantly year by year, as to where the Indians have seen a decline in play each of the last few years after the one wild card game, so thus not as exciting.

I wasn't excited for a late 'are you kidding me, where was this before' surge to end the season. Tribe came off of an playoff berth with 'unfinished business'.

I say Royals were exciting because it was their first winning season in 10 seasons.

The grass is always greener...

So they got bonus points for being crappy longer?
