The energy in the stadium that night will never be forgotten by me
I had a chance to go to that game, but didn't since it was on a Thursday and I live/work in Columbus.

I regretted not going and still do. Still had a hell of a night partying in Columbus for it, though.

But being there would have been pretty surreal.

God damn, I can't wait for next season. Football weekends are going to be a whole other level of fun now with the Browns being good...last year was just a taste.

so ill say it. Baker gives 100%, all day every day. He is going to win a lot of people over just from pure enthusiasm. He is damn accurate, can sling the ball and has 2 WRs that can catch pretty much anything. I know a lot of people dont like him, and i get it, I understand.

but the dude knows how to lead, and knows how to play winning football.

for those fans that are more cavs fans than browns fans. think the polar opposite of tyronn lue
Post #5 in this thread... nicely done, sir.

There are some breathtakingly bad hot takes back there as well. Kind of fun to look through the likes, etc., as well.

I can own mine; I couldn’t stand it at the time and expressed it in sophomoric fashion, I’d say.

My thing wasn't his height, I laughed that just under 6'1 was short, but 6'2 or 6'3 is fine. Like 1.5 inches suddenly makes a difference. My issue was that no one from the Big 12 has ever been a highly successful QB because the defenses are just bad so its hard to trust the data. I stand by my point to this day as even Baker says the defenses were very easy in the Big 12 in an interview I saw.

But obviously I am glad that Dorsey went old school gut on this one and ignored the Big 12 qb data, because we now have 2 who buck the trend.

His senior year when he was able to beat a pretty good OSU team at the Shoe, at the shoe and had Georgia on the ropes in the Rose Bowl? Kinda showed his potential to me more so than the Big XII games.

Maturity was what the scared the hell out of me.

BIG12 and his 2nd half vs Georgia scared me. I liked Darnold better but now that Cowherd loves Darnold I cant stand him..

I feel Baker vs Cowherd will be like a Ali vs Cosell type lifetime love/hate relationship, mainly hate though, lol

Cosell was a legend.

Cowherd is, well, decidedly a mincing yell guy who knows shit.

He'll be forgotten in a decade.

Cowherd has been around for over a decade already, he is no Cosell, but he will still be significant in 10 years, he knows how to make him self relevant with his hot takes.

Not if Baker has his boys break his jaw. And fingers.

Comparing Cosell to Cowherd is like comparing Citizen Kane to Dude, Where’s My Car

I remember my buddy and I watched an interview with Tenacious D when their movie came out and bombed and, all these years later, I still occasionally remember and chuckle at this quote:

"You know, they say Citizen Kane only made ten thousand dollars when it opened, so that means our movie is like twice as good."

Everyone should read those first dozen pages in this thread. Good times.

The absolutism in peoples'statements about that draft pick is a lesson to learn going forward.

However, that takes all the fun out of being on a message board.
