I'm not sure what I hate most about the warriors. Really high up there is the fact that we had shine for like two weeks before kd made it all about the warriors again.

I just never, ever, want anyone to use "rings" to justify where he ranks as an all-time great, if he gets any that is....

Because I pretty much think that should be disqualified for him. If they win a title, is it tainted? No, I'm not going there. I don't believe in this tainted title talk. Even though I think we'd have beaten the Warriors if Kyrie and Love never went down, that's still a championship for the Warriors. I don't believe in taking away championships, it's being a poor sport.

But, going on a team like that, no one can go hey, Durant has a title, that means he's now this great, or that great, etc...

I know we said that about LeBron at first when he left, and we were being a bit salty. But this has nothing do with that.

Because hey, they were never, ever, a championship caliber team without him. The Warriors clearly are one without Durant.

Agreed, but truth is nobody outside of us will see it that way. Durant will be crowned by the media as the next big thing.

Could have been worse. He could have joined the Spurs.

I'd take my chances with a KD w/Warriors squad than KD with the Spurs.

The thing is most casual fans don't give a damn about context. You know the people who I'm talking about "KB24 best player ever 5 rangz so clutch!" Durant deserves absolutely no respect for whatever rings he wins with the Warriors. There's stacking the deck to compete with the best teams and then there's joining a team that won a championship, lost a second one by 4 points, and had the greatest regular season of all time.

The sad thing is it seems like people don't even care about what Durant did anymore. He doesn't even get booed on the road lol. He's just kind of a boring dude and people don't care about what he does in general because he doesn't evoke emotion out of people like a LeBron or Kobe does.

He made probably the most spineless decision in the history of sports. It's hard for me to imagine getting beat by a team in a 7 game series and then joining them the year after. When I lose at something I get pissed and hate the other team and I'm sure thats true for most people. KD is just a lil bitch but it's really nothing new. He's always been a softy and I think he just hit a point where he truly realized he would never win a championship without joining a team that would give him a huge margin of error.

I just hope fans won't buy into him after he wins a ring or 2. In my mind, a ring or 2 does just about nothing for him as far as rankings go because the Warriors can and have won without him. Has there ever been a team where you could say that they can win the championship without their best player?

I don't know why some of you guys are tripping out. We're going to beat them again. Just chill lol.
Yaaaaaaassssssss!

We sure as fuck are. And it will be a glorious triumph.

Another choke job by Steph. Did KLove really need to guard him at all?

Cavs are about to sign Deron Williams and Andrew Bogut who will help immediately and will play in the playoffs and The Finals. The Warriors are about to sign Jose Calderon who won't get playing time and won't play in the playoffs and The Finals.

Calderon can't even crack the Lakers rotation.

I think it was just a Golden State front office mistake.

1. Joe Lacob sees the Cavs pick up Kyle Korver mid-season and he starts shooting 90% from 3-point range. Lacob starts to get nervous.
2. Next, Lacob sees the Cavs pick up Derrick Williams, a washed-up draft bust who instantly becomes an athletic and productive role player off the bench. Now, Lacob's starting to sweat.
3. Finally, Lacob hears the rumor that the Cavs might get DWill and Andrew Bogut after the Mavs release them. That becomes the last straw.
4. Lacob realizes he needs to do something to prevent the Cavs from getting both of those guys. He knows Bogut won't come back because of how shitty the Warriors treated him when they kicked his ass to the curb so they could sign Durant.
5. So he sends a memo to Bob Myers about Deron Williams, telling Myers to "Call Deron. Do whatever it takes to get him here."

Problem is, Myers thought the memo said, "Calderon. Do whatever it takes to get him here." :chuckle:

Well the fuck done. You took the scenic route, and the journey was well worth it.
