the hardest thing for us to remember is that no matter what the outcome of this finals we will always be 2016NBA champions the warriors will always be the team that blew a 3-1 lead

Yeah go out and get kevin durant and prove this year that you were the better team last year. I swear that whole organization is full of frontrunner fucks
If the Golden State team charter went down in the middle of a corn field, would anyone shed a tear?

Yeah, that Lacob comment makes zero sense.

If one of JR Smith or Kevin Love don't play like All-Stars the whole series against GSW if we meet them, then our margin of error goes down to nill.
Here's one way of looking at.

If you told me back in 2014.

The Cavs would have LeBron and the Warriors would have Durant. I'd take LeBron.
The Cavs would have Kyrie and the Warriors would have Steph. I'd say its a coin flip.
The Cavs would have Kevin Love and the Warriors would have Klay Thompson. I'd take Love.
The Cavs would have Tristan and the Warriors would have Draymond. I'd say Draymond is better, but TT is no slouch.
The Cavs would have Lue and the Warriors would have Mike Brown as HC. I'd say I'd take my chance with any coach over Brown.

Stars just need to be freaking stars. If everybody shows up I'm good.

It is mind blowing that one can come up with such "logic"

I thought the Thunder were the better team last year...so sayeth Iguodala? :shakehead:

Beating the Warriors this year would be a bigger surprise by far than last year. Last year's version of the Warriors was struggling into the Finals and frankly should not have been there. This years version outside one game, have been great to incredible.

To me, this is the rubber match. I can see the loser not being the same next season. While the winner moves onto another title in 18.

Oh yeah they where incredible at beating Portland without Nurkic who was an All Star for them at 15/12/2 in 29 MPG .. His presense alone would have given GSW Trouble combined with Lillard and CJ they cant stop.

They looked incredible against Utah without George Hill who played like an all Star too.. oh and Gobert just came back from an injury.. and Hayward was hobbeled

They looked incredible against SA that first lost still servicable Tony Parker and then Kahwi Leonard..

They looked amazing beating Teams missing All Stars.

If they just swept SA with Parker and Leonard..THEN i would be impressed and scared.. but not this way..

Be careful what you wish for...

I think this is great.. let them bathe in all this Warriors Glorification. Let them be even more arrogant than last year.. let them forget that fight and resillience won last years Finals.. not Talent..

If we play them I'm honestly interested to see how they defend the Cavs. I think they are still the top team defending the 3 point line, going to be interesting to see how they try to defend the Cavs attack and how fast do the Cavs counter with getting LBJ and KI rolling inside. Kawhi in game 1 was having his way on iso's and pick and roll.
