The F Kelly Olynyk Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
There is a few miles of distance between "attitude" and what Olynyk did to Love. Ben Wallace was pure uncut attitude and never ripped a guys arm out of the socket.

Don't think I'm condoning what happened.

But seriously, Cleveland wanted Boston in the 1st round because it would be an easy matchup. They tanked 2 games against a team fighting for a playoff spot, and I'm guessing took it as a slap in the face. Frustration they couldn't win ultimately created the situation that happened.

Cavs play to win games, they don't see Boston in the playoffs, and we're more likely to be going into this round with a healthy Kevin Love. That's how it goes.

Whether or not you condone it- you are working really hard to blame the victim here.

I've never heard anyone on the team say that they preferred Boston over another team in the 1st round. I'm happy to be wrong if you can supply some evidence.
Tanking 2 games to a team struggling to make the playoffs isn't a slap in the face it's a gift. A slap in the face would be playing the starters for the whole game and running up the score. You see one of those scenarios is helpful to the Cs and one is embarrassing the them. That said the Cavs rested starters just like everyone else that was in a position to do so and they did in fact lose both of those games.

No team presumes that resting their staters before a playoff push will lead to losing a player for 6 months and to do so would be paranoid.

but yes, that's how it goes...

Yes, it's Kevin's Love's fault. FFS. I don't even know what to say.

Boston wasn't "struggling" to make the playoffs. They had the 2nd best record after the all-star break in the East. You embarrass them by tanking games so you would end up playing them in the playoffs. It was a deliberate tactic by management and possibly LBJ if you want to believe it or not. It's arrogance and I'm not surprised that Boston came out playing rough and physical.

Cleveland wanted Boston, and that's what they got.

But sure, I think Kevin Love is scum and I'm glad he got hurt.

You disrespect the greatest Swayze to ever live.

Complaining about Olynik rather than about the NBA rules that don't discourage such reckless plays seems to me misplaced and not productive.

Are you making a mockery of what was heralded as a revolutionary interview of an American hero Bruce Jenner? Tisk Tisk. Tactless. Transsexuals like Bruce show way more courage than you mere cis gender heterosexuals will ever show. Bruce Jenner is a better person, a better lover, and a better friend than you'll ever be.

Whatever it is that makes you mad the answer is yes.

I hope the next time Kelly Olynyk gets a coffee from Starbucks, it's the bottom of the pot.
