Safaris should be reserved for players with multiple all-star appearances or max contract players, or at least players that everyone nationwide would view as a big pick-up.

To me, the problem isn't the idea of Greg Oden as much as it is the labeling of this as a safari.

Um there was a Bynum Safari. Can't remember if there was a Jack Safari and I believe possibly an Earl Clark one. If you participated in either you should be banned.

And this one is just as bad, if not worse. So by your logic (and you started this), permaban? From now on, I think only mods/admins should be able to create safaris.

O'neal would drive everyone nuts. Oden has enough for what we need and we don't have many options. Rather have Oden than someone from the Charge.

Wrong, Spo wanted small ball. He was playing and doing alright. They played him as a starter against Hibbert and he had a terrible game. They never played him again in any serious minutes. That was a mistake to me. He can play and if you play a center like Hibbert maybe you have to put Andy in as the matchup for games like that. I think Oden can have some great games against some of the lesser centers. Hopefully Blatt isn't Mike Brown on the matchups. Something tells me he's far from it.
