I always wondered how Hitler rose to power. Obviously Germany had a Musselini Safari and when they got him something similar to what is happening on this board went down.

theres nothing wrong with gathering the homers and putting them in their own little section !

To be fair think the Homer Safari is working out. im drawing them out by the busloads. very similiar backstory as Matty;s lebron safari. it was three years in the making and wasnt originally named a safari but became one

I'm not sure I understand the
anal
ogy.

Terrible.

You don't know how safari's work.

:gtfo:

Yeah Join Date post Amare Safari, clearly you were living the dream on Cavsfanatic. You don't even know what a Safari is.

Oh, you think beef on kimmelweck is your ally? You merely searched the archives. I was born it, molded by it. I didn't see beef on kimmelweck until I was a man (searching for clues at 3am on AS weekend). By then all it was to me was an agreed upon deal for Amare.

Is it bad that I'd prefer going on safari for Greg Oden over Kevin Love? I'd rather pay pennies on the dollar for a chance at a mostly healthy Oden over giving up prime prospects and draft pick assets for one year of Kevin "I've never made the playoffs" Love. At least Oden has seen some limited playoff action. Wiggins, Waiters, and Bennett have as much postseason experience as K-Love.

mostly healthy by whose standards? The teams or Odens?

The Cavs took that chance last year with Bynum, no need to repeat that (health wise)

I don't think that this is the same type of risk as the Bynum signing as that man is total poison from top to bottom. I don't think Lebron feels the same way about Greg Oden and if you see him in a Cavs uniform, then Lebron likely endorsed him and that's good enough for me. If he could round out even some of his potential in a Cavs uniform then we will be in pretty good shape.

Oden seems to have worked extremely hard to get himself healthy and back into game shape. Personally, he brings a lot to the table that we absolutely have a dire need for and allows us to shift out of small ball formats for periods during the game. I don't think we'll need to overdo it with him but he could be extremely valuable for the cost it would take to get him.

By the way, I'd really love to abuse my Mod privileges and change the thread title to "The Greg Oden Trip to the Zoo" because that's more fitting than a Safari.

By both. Oden didn't miss time to injury. He didn't play as much because Spoelstra likes the small ball lineups. Birdman himself is on the small side for a center. Oden was the only 7 footer on that squad.

Oden is not the cancer that Bynum is. He took what was given to him and was healthy in his limited minutes. I'd guess that he'd like to step it up a bit this year. He's not going to log mega minutes, but could be a 10 minute guy coming off the end of the bench.

Probably not as bad as Bynum, but he has his own demons.

Well, I don't expect him to be jacking threes from midcourt during practice and refuse to stop doing it, disrupting the whole practice entirely. Bynum did that more than once.

Feel free to abuse! I like the idea.

Like I said, he has his own demons. Not the same as Bynum, but still concerning.
