Honestly the whole benching him thing and now starting him thing coupled with a stiff back here and there has thrown him all out of whack.

I have faith JR will right the ship. Let’s not forget he was basically the only guy besides Bron and Kyrie that could make a bucket in the Finals. He didn’t wash out over night. He’s going to be fine. LeBron and Lue will work their magic on him.

LeBron said the team needed “one good win” to right the ship and move forward and I think JR needs one game where he hits like 6 threes and then he’ll be on the right path.

No doubt he was huge for us.. I was just wondering what the heck is the plan and what's his issue. A side from the mental aspect, he looks much less exposive to me and it shows on offense and defense. Korver looks like a much better defender than him so far and it shouldn't be this way.

He tweaked his back on a dribble drive/reverse lay-up or something in camp when he was running the 2nd unit. Then it caused him to get out of shape.(so many guys are working back into shape from minor injuries and a short preseason including LBJ) He’s feeling better but it’s gonna take a little timers get back into shapes If we would have been 7-2 or 6-3 now hed probably take at least back to backs off.

Cedi will be getting court time soon. I promise.

But the Cavs needed to win this game and we were leading the whole way through and playing well. It was an audible not to play him. But I think you’re going to see a lot more Cedi and Ante versus the “lesser” teams that everyone else loves to mail it in against to add some energy. But the whole team had energy last night.

I wonder if London Perrantes or Holland will get some days in the NBA with the injuries we currently have. We currently only have 12 healthy player so we have a spot open to dress one of them. I would love to see London Perrantes get a chance to be our bridge backup PG until IT is back or Calderon is moved.

Parrantes isn't a good player, but I like Holland. HE has improved his shot and he can fit with us. He is a bit undersized, but he is a decent Shump replacment.

I honestly haven't seen him play outside of college and summer league highlights on YouTube. I'm still scratching my head on why we didn't go after Quinn Cook for our last 2 way contract with how Calderon played in the preseason. He could have been the bridge PG we need till IT comes back. We could have basically guaranteed that he would get his 45 days in the NBA before the end of January and he could make the choice to stay or leave if we didn't have a roster spot for him.

Wasn't he supposed to get some minutes against the Wizards, according to Lue?

This is literally the worst team ( not in terms of talent/record but situation) that Cedi could be playing for, in terms of his development.

Lue has a very erratic/short leah form him , and the rest of the team has no interest in involving him at all.

Yep. Both Zizic and Cedi are being wasted here.

He has no idea how to develop these guys. I wish we didn't let Felder go, at least him, Zizic, and Cedi could run plays together in practice. Then they go run those plays when they got actual playing him. Right now I see it as a wasted year for both of them unless Gilbert or Koby speak up and get Lue on board with developing them.

And that's really a waste. We don't have a starting 2 guard, our defense is horrible, and we're playing like crap.

He should be able to get significant minutes simply because he has youth, length, and defensive desire, which is a combination possessed by no other wing on this team. There is no downside considering how badly we are playing otherwise.

He has good fundamentals, and there is no real downside to giving him significant minutes and seeing what happens.

Dude needs confidence to develop.
He needs to know that he will get his X minutes to prove himself and improve with the "big boys" for a string of games.
Right now he misses a shot and he's out. You can't build a player like that.

Hopefully both our rookies get the time they need on the court to gain the experience and confidence they need. Because they do posses talent.

Well that too but also even if he was getting minutes I still don't think this would be a great situation for Cedi. The cave only seem to view him as a 3-d player, when it seems clear that Cedi has a decent amount of play-making potential as well. He's never going to get to grow on that front here.

Koby needs to sit down with Lue and map out on the schedule games that Zizic and Cedi need to play in. Give them 15 minutes a game and actually develop them. These guys are assets but if they aren't being develop they will become zero value like Felder.
