Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I've been on some anxiety medications before but nothing ever really seemed to click for me. I just felt kinda numb, but albeit less anxious. My anxiety has been bad the last month solid. I can't sleep through the night. I'm even putting my phone down earlier and setting stricter bed times. Eliminating caffeine after my pre workout at 3pm.

To top that off I got dumped Thursday so in addition to worrying about 3457834560 unnecessary things I'm just wrecking myself repeatedly. Basically replaying every fight that I could've avoided. All of the things that I find wrong with myself that could have led to being let go. Just not sure if anyone has had any good experiences with anything over the counter? I tried some low doses of prozac before but didn't notice much improvement.

Hope everyone in here going through it is having a good one. You don't realize how many people are putting on a brave face and dealing with so many issues but they are.
Jesus glad im not the only one. Thanks for posting this.

Otc sleeping meds are good.

Make your bed strictly for sleep. Dont lie down unless youre tired.

Everyone needs to learn mindful meditation. Brief rundown:

Your thoughts nor emotions happen in a vaccuum, they are interrelated. One thought spirals out to the next to the next, each one potentially making you feel better or worse. You can control this to an extent.

The simple way, is to hear the thoughts and say "just shut the fuck up! Shut up!" To yourself. Get odf the train of thought.

The other way is to do mindfull meditation. Sam harris has a 9 minute clip on YouTube that you shoulf download. Its essentially turning your brain off of the chaff by focusing strictly on your body anr what youre feeling and hearing.. Sensations, to break up the pathological thought pattern. Swear to god it works. Not every time, not completely, but if you dont have the tool in the belt its imperative you do.

Its also great for sleep.

You should try Ashwagandha for the sleep and anixety.. it's wonderful.

Lower caffeine rgardless, the highs and lows of caffeine consumption are bad and the dopamine changes could be messing with your system. I would limit the intake to the mornings only. Try some tea instead.

Interesting. I find that intrusive thoughts typically go away better for me with thought replacement or just making light of the ideas in my head. Everyone is obviously different.

I've also find that I fall asleep in less than 1 minute if I listen to funny absurd bullshit before I go to bed. Longmont Potion Castle prank calls are the current thing that works. Used to be Sal and Richard pranks.

I'll definitely try anything at this point. I'm honestly so sick of overthinking it's just been awful lately even before the breakup. Now much worse cause of course you're just imagining the person you love out with a million guys. Appreciate the tips fellas.

My biggest problem is the tendency to rehash past events and things that are no longer in my control. These are usually decisions that I have made or made by others for me and I just can't let go if I find it to be a problem in the present.

check them out.. you might find some other things to calm yourself.
You should try a melatonin powder to fall asleep, don't over do it though.

I know with me a stressful day creates excess stomach acid and the day after I have stomach issues, used to think it was food poisoning until I made the link. Headaches linked to the jam and neck sound right to me

Carbonated mineral water takes care of heartburn very quickly.

Anyone ever tried stoicism? I've found it really useful over the last few years to get outside my own thoughts and stop then getting out of hand

Everyone should own a copy of Marcus Aurelius' Meditations.

I will aslo add that organic apple cider is effective at aiding in the symptoms of heartburn (acid reflux).

I consume about 4 table spoons a day, two in the morning and two at night. Leading the market place is Bragg's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with "The Mother".

Brief explanation of the benefits, which is not too overly scientific.

I am back to needing female attention round the clock. I didn't give a shit two weeks ago, now I need it to feel OK.

This never ends well.

I listened to a podcast on it and it didn't sound up my alley from what little I heard.

What little I gathered was essentially that you're ignoring and/or bottling up your emotions?

Do you take it straight up or do you mix it with anything?

You would think something as acidic as apple cider vinegar would make acid reflux worse. You know what works for acid reflux? Medically approved to treat heartburn ranitidine
