The mystery deal discussed lol (take your wild guesses)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Barbosa and Diaw

AV is too valuable at this point. He is one of those glue guys that brings the intangibles that you hear about on championship teams. He's never played better. I hated him toward the end of last year and was thinking there's no way he'd be on the team after this year. However, this first set of games has changed my mind.

I'd love to have Okafur and Wallace, but Okafur is not an all star. JJ could develop into a similar player of Okafur's level. Wallace is one head injury from only playing basketball on 2k9.

I'd rather wait and trade Wally and whatever crap filler for JRich.

Well no point guessin, there could be a loada teams or 3 way deals that that dude is talkin about.

Okafor and Wallace would be amazing, but why the **** would Charlotte do that? Two up and coming stars in this league and they wanna trade him to us for an expiring contract, Varejao and a first round pick?

But if that could get done that would be amazing.

Could be David Le and Gerald Wallace, Mike Redd and a big man, no idea.

I have no idea why you guys seem to want to move Anderson. He's been the Cavs best big so far this season. For that matter, do you have any idea how much Okafor makes? He's a good but not game changing player who makes the money of a star. That's not a good equation for fiscal responsibility.

Quote from W&G:

Once he said that my head started to hurt lol, but i am so curious now. My first guess was AV/Wally/1st for Okafor/GForce. When does Av's trade restriction come off? Because if a deal was discussed involving him and both sides agree then the trigger would probably be pulled after that date. And i know my guess is unlikely but Okafor can be traded as of Dec. 15th i believe.....

good find DJG....but it must be s good trade if ferry is giving up 2 players & a first b/c he don't like giving up 1st

DO YOU KNOW IF WHEN & IF IT IS LIKELY TO HAPPEN????

i really hope(can't believe i'm saying this) that it doesn't include av b/c he is really helping us on both sides of the floor & is coming up big for us

what does he exactly mean by swingman???

tradeables-west,kinsey,wally,pav,darnell,picks

I have gone on record several times as being a huge okafor fan next to lebron. His defensive minded game would be incredible. I love AV, but okafor is a much better defender. He basically is Ben Wallace in his prime with a better offensive game but on a much worse team. Okafor is young and one of the top 5 definsive bigs in the league. Not sure J-rich or Gerald Wallace would be possible on top of Okafor, but if it is, you do it and dont think twice, lol

who ever we get, I hope our 2010 plans don't get ruined!!

So, Ferry is probably looking for someone that is good/capable of defending, has a good character
and is positive in the locker room. And will gel with LeBron.
Who can that be?
Okafor/GForce is a good trade but its risky!
Okafor- $9,537,500 6 years
Gerald Wallace - $9,500,000 4 years
This will take out 19 mill + for 2010. Probably not going to happen(my guess)

John Salmons and Brad Miller is what I really like!!!!!!

we might just have to wait and see :p

i would like to emeka but i just don't see it happening

how about this trade

We get Brad Miller, John Salmons and Kenny Thomas(Bad contract) For
Wally, Sasha and AV and maybe a 1st or a 2nd round pick.
Id hate to give up Andy when he is doing pretty good right now but we cant let him go for nothing

our plans for 2010 will not be affected! :)

I could care less about having cap room in 2010 if we add young talent now. Most likely none of the big names are changing teams. Ofcourse the good news on that is it inludes LBJ not changing teams. I think Ferrys plan is to be flexible with contracts so we can offer teams cap relief. Alot of teams are going after the fools gold of the summer of 2010'si free agent market. Hopefully the cavs will proffit from this and use our expirings to get the young talent the best way, through trade.

Also, if we use up our cap space, and Lebron is succesful at convincing Bosh to come here, a s&t is always possible, and leaves us with more talent. (since we didnt dump talent to get under the cap)....Win-win situation right there.

I think you guys saying Brad Miller are dillusional (I still have love for you Lee, just not feeling B-Easy for this team)

I dont want Brad Miller enough, to where I'd even consider taking on Kenny Thomas' contract. I dont even know if I'd do a Ben Wallace for Brad Miller trade and they expire at the same time.

I do like Salmons, and I would dedicate a room in my house to Danny Ferry if we could get Salmons and Hawes, then I'd be willing to take one of their bad contracts, but anything less is not worth it if you ask me

-J-Ho/Damp works out all too perfectly, and makes the most sense.
-JR Smith/Kenyon works out (we all know how cheap Denver is, they'd love 14 mil)
-S-Jack/Harrington works, but I heard S-Jack's getting an extension soon
-Dunleavy/Murphy works, but I doubt it
-Camby/Kaman and Mobley
-Redd/Gadzuric
-Carter/Swift
-Curry/Crawford
-Salmons/Brad Miller (more PT for Hawes/Thompson/Garcia/Douby this way)
-AK47 and Harpring/Korver/Brewer
-And how I wish it was this but not likely......Butler/Jamison :chuckles:

I think those are all the possible options above. It was kind of a downer when W/G said not to get out heads spinning about this and there's gonna be more options, because that put my excitement that a deal was gonna take place soon away....

If we got Chris Bosh in return I'd be hesitant to send Andy off, I am in love with him. I can't believe the kind of turn-around he has had, and he's even hit a couple of mid-range shots.

EDIT: Nevermind, I thought of a great deal. Kobe and Pau, DO IT DANNY!
