im being real.

he didnt put those 3 together. those 3 chose to come together on their own. and the place to meet was a no brainer. miami. south beach.

riley has rings as a coach, yea he did that. but as a GM, the guy is grossly overrated.

regardless if griffin / grant / dan dont have rings.. THEY PUT THIS THING TOGETHER. and the RIGHT way at that. they built this thing from the ground up. they didnt have no corners to cut. there was no short cuts. only thing they had was a plan and they did it.

riley? a heads up to make space because 2 stars were coming to town. but he failed to formulate a plan to actually have a TEAM surrounding those 3 players. amateur GM shit.

You realize he won a ring as team president prior to those 3 coming together with the Heat? He get no credit for putting that '06 team together either?

i was waiting for somebody to bring that '06 team up. that was a 1 year fluke. where were they before that and after that. anybody can get lucky and win.

i dont credit much to fluke victories. i look at what they consistently do. and he consistently shows hes nothing special.

Yea ok. Doesn't get credit for the team that went to four straight Finals or the team that won the title in '06. Yes, when you discount literally of all his achievements I guess he just isn't that good.

Well, the year before that, they were the #1 seed in the East. They lost in the ECF after Wade hurt himself. In 07, they struggled to 44 wins as both Shaq and Wade missed significant parts of the year. In 08, Wade again got hurt, and they traded Shaq mid-season.

Did you just compare boxing to basketball?

You do realize that you have to win 4 games to win a series in the playoffs right? So the one punch knockout comparison doesn't work here. Lol in fact, Miami was 16 and 7 in the playoffs that year, and they didn't go seven games in any of the series. Thats not luck my friend
