hmmm...Checking it out. I think this show is going to be awesome. I read the first part of the comic and I was hooked. AMC has been on a roll with shows, so there is no way this can be bad, especially with Frank Darabont at the helm.

Nope, it's a TV series on AMC. Premieres in a week or so.

Just watched it. It was fantastic. Its almost like a movie. The acting was great, the emotion came across as genuine, it was just fantastic all around. Cannot wait for the series to premier and I hope this becomes really popular.

Amazing. Can't wait until the next episode. The acting was refreshing. I was surprised how realistic the half-body zombie was. Definitely watching this series.

Thanks for the find MYoung; definitely wouldn't have heard about this show otherwise.

Re: The Walking Dead Episode One (Pre-air)

So just to clarify- SPOILER ALERT- was Shane boning Terri before the zombie madness? I only read one of the comics/books (I think) and I don't remember that angle. And how the hell did he survive in the hospital for what appears to be a week or two, unconscious with no fluids? That fool would have dehydrated and died- not to mention massive pressure ulcers. Other than that, great start to what should be an awesome series.

As I recall it was implied or hinted that Shane and Lori had an affair while Rick was in the hospital.

In regard to Rick in the hospital I think he woke up shortly after the hospital was abandoned which seemed to be stationed and operational for some time after the outbreak.

Shane was banging Lori. She eventually comes out and tells Rick later on in the story. Ive been reading TWD since the beginning. The show did not disappoint. :)

How awesome was this show!? Loved it. I held out until the premiere and AMC hit another homerun.

Looks like it will be sticking around. It pulled in AMCs highest rated show ever. Pulled in 5.3 million viewers.

Re: The Walking Dead Episode One (Pre-air)

Why on every forum are people talking about spoilers for this show. Okay you read the comic, me too (a little bit), no need to blabber about how you cant wait for *spoiler scene here* to happen or *other spoiler scene here*. Just what the fuck are you trying to prove? Yes its a forum, but respect the people who have only seen the first episode.

And this is not even directed to you guys directly, I just wanted to get that out because its annoying. Make a spoiler thread or something.

It was well made for sure. I tried to win the zombie spot and failed at the end.

Between this and Boardwalk Empire, my Sundays are set.
