The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Apex Legends has been a pleasant surprise. Never played Fortnite and didn't much care for PUBG.

Am I mistaken, or wasn't Titanfall a successor to Halo? And this is set inside Titanfall, right?

Nope. Titanfall was made by guys who created the Call of Duty series. They were fired by Activision back in 2010 and formed Respawn Entertainment shortly after.

Revengeance is barely an mgs game but it looks kinda cool imo.

2 is a lot worse than I remember, 3 is a lot better. I probably am gonna find a way to play 4 again. 1 is still legit.

Having a real tough time beating psycho mantis on the fucking keyboard in this pirated ass version of mgs. Controls suck ass

Titanfall 2 is so good. The movement... oof. Apex is cool but where is Titanfall 3?

You have to break the 4th wall by changing the control input.

Not gonna bother with Revengeance.

3 was my favorite. Feel like it's the best balance of great story and great gameplay. 1 has a great story but the gameplay is a little rough nowadays. 5 has a weak story but incredible gameplay. Thought 4 was just kind of...meh. Good story, good gameplay, but nothing really great. 2 was definitely my least favorite.

My laptop hates this fucking game and crashes if I take the controller out

1 has the best story. Kinda pumped to play 4

Where do you put pw

Ohh, I see. So you tried using the keyboard and had issues.

Once I figured out I needed to use the keyboard instead of the controller, I was able to beat it rather quickly. You can customize the controls.

Pretty sure it crashes if I open the controls menu

And it's just really slow to respond to. Ocelot was a ridiculous battle because yiu had to run alrund super precise

That's a tough one to rank with the rest. Some things I LOVED about PW...but there were also some pretty dumb things that hold it back.

I'd probably go:

3
1/5
4/PW
2

But honestly, PW conceptually was amazing. Could have easily been the best game in the series.

Hmm. I didn't run into too many issues. There were some buggy things though for sure. Tried my best to avoid them.

Had dinner with a nice couple in Red Dead 2 who drugged me, robbed me, and left me for dead in a mass grave near their farm. After coming to, I staggered back to their farm and walked into their house. The woman came at me with a knife, so I hog-tied her while the husband, who was alerted by her yelling, took pot shots at me from the top of the stairwell. I backed off, forcing him to come down the stairs, then introduced his face to my hatchet.

Carried the wife to the mass grave and dumped her there while she cried "Anywhere but here." :chuckle:

Impressed that they actually accounted for players doing that in the recorded dialogue.

I'm still in chapter two of this game. Just been wandering around completing challenges, hunting, fishing, robbing people, stealing stagecoaches, and accidentally getting bounties put on me because I had the gall to bump into someone, starting a massive firefight.

Gonna be a long time before another open world tops this one. Really is a marvel.
