The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I bought sniper elite Nazi Zombie Army on steam. when you play that game with friends it is fun as fuck. Not much to it really. It is very simple, yet great.

I'm behind the times on this. I'm playing Skyrim... fully modded... and it looks f***ing amazing!

Outlast on PS4...........scariest game I've played since Condemned. Atmosphere + sound + breathing effects = shitty pants.

I've heard Outlast is an absolute amazing experience.

I'm going ot pick up tomb raiderfor my Xbox One when I get my refund check.

Arcania - Gothic 4. Still trying to find that one that hooks me (LoD needs remade or sequel, please and thank you)

New Wolf Among Us installment is really good.

I just got a PS4 and downloaded this (yes it is free for PS+ members) and maybe 10 minutes in I jumped out of my chair for the first time. I don't scare easy either, its just a good game with fantastic ambiance.

I'm too much of a pussy to play outlast. I played the first 15 minutes and got freaked out. It seems like a REALLY well made horror game though. The atmosphere got me all by itself. I could not imagine being chased around in that game. I think I was done after the first time you have to hide in the locker from the roid rage monster and proceed into the basement to turn on the power.

Yeah, I really liked it.

The fight near the end felt really contrived, though. You could tell they just threw it in there because they felt like the second episode needed some action. Which is understandable, since this one was really low on action, at least the way I played it.

I was pretty surprised that they revealed who the killer was so soon. I thought that would be the driving force behind the entire five episodes, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was wrong, and that the story will expand going forward. I also really, really love the art style. The graphics aren't anything too fancy, but the style is just so fantastic that you barely notice.

All in all, another solid Telltale outing.

Agree. I'm not familiar with the source material so I was pleasantly surprised at a lot of the reveals. Action was low but I never really noticed because I was engrossed in the story. Totally flew by. Did anyone try to head into the hotel's first room on the left? :chuckles: I ended up not trying because I wanted to make sure I got to the room I needed. Overall, great second installment.

I do know that Dan Gilbert is currently playing The Devil's Advocate.

The one game that sticks in my mind as being a chilling experience was Silent Hill 2. I remember being uncomfortable about being uncomfortable... "Come on man, what's wrong with you. You're playing a video game!" I'm not sure if anything has replicated that feeling since. That game was effective because of the ambiance. Would you say that this new one compares to the Silent Hills (If you've played them)?

I went into the room, or rather got Beauty to open the door for me. Basically you just see Bigby open the door, the girl inside screams, the dude yells wtf, and Bigby quickly shuts the door and apologizes to Beauty when she gets mad at him. It doesn't impede your progress in any meaningful way.
