These guys are good

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think the top teams lost 5 or six games last year, right? This year 3 loses will probably do it. I hope the Bucks can limit the loses though in order to get a 1 seed. The Big Ten is damn strong this year. The Big East is right there with them and maybe a tad stronger.

I don't believe we have really got fired up for a big ten game yet this year however. We better be ready on Saturday or else Illinois will kick butt.

I want the Buckeyes to lose eventually. I do not think it is healthy for a team to not experience loss during the season. You lose a couple of games, you realize you're mortal and can address weaknesses early enough to fix them before the tourney season.

Since the expansion to 64 teams in 1985, 1 team has gone into the Tournament undefeated. 1991 UNLV, which lost to Duke in the Final Four.

St. Joe's 2004 team, which consisted of Delonte West & Jameer Nelson, finished the regular season undefeated, but lost in the Conference Tourney, therefore did not go into the NCAA Tourney undefeated.

The last team to completely run the table was the 1976 Hoosiers, who finished 32-0, back when the field was just 32 teams.

Completely agree with your post.

You have nothing to worry about because they will lose about 4-5 games before Tourney.

Trying to figure out who Craft reminds me of but drawing a blank. He's damn commanding at the point as you know who's in charge at the top. You don't stop Battle, but Craft came about as close as anyone can at stopping him. He's got almost perfect form on that jumper as well. Extremely mature. Unless we play teams with bigger 4's and 5's, it looks like Lauderdale isn't going to be getting much time this year.

I see Charlie Ward after Ward learned to hit the three ball. In college, he was a great leader and defender, but was too busy with his five or six other sports to concentrate on his outside shot. About three years into his pro career, he became a very good three-ball shooter. This is where I could see Craft ending up, perhaps with slightly less quickness.

Don't forget the great Dwayne Jones.

It seemed like a 20 point lead the entire game. Win by 22.

I actually thought Craft played his best game to date. Not much scoring but the best defense I've seen for a point guard. He probably had 8 or so assists as well.

Illinois is next. We'll see what OSU is made of on Saturday.

4-5 is a tall order with 12 games left...

Sure our toughest games are to come but, with only 3 ranked games on the road and a defense as good as this team has. We can definitely come out 2-1 in those road games.

I don't see this team losing at home to anyone since the athletic department finally put the students around the damn arena instead of just behind the damn hoop.

I predict three loses out of the 12 remaining. OSU just doesn't seem to get up for games.... each and every game. Matta needs to find a way to get these guys motivated each and every game. They were a very different team last night from the previous 4 or 5 games. They played with intensity and desire. You could really see it on defense. They were manning up and in the shorts of Iowa who could barely breathe. They totally have to come out on Saturday with the same desire in order to win at Illinois. The simple fact that the big ten is stocked of many teams who can beat any other team on any night means that OSU is surely going to lose a couple of the remaining games. I only hope they can stay in the top 4 in the polls while losing. I feel a #1 seed in the tourney is just too important.

Bucks are going to be in for a battle tomorrow afternoon. This will be their toughest challenge up to this point imo, the Illini will be ready for them. I'm looking forward to see how Craft deals with Demetri Mccamey, hes been a bulldog on defense so far but this will be his biggest challenge. I wouldnt be surprised to see Ligthy get some time guarding him. Ohio State is the better team, hopefully its enough

Yep, cannot wait for this game!

Not really. Lots of tough match ups coming and the Buckeyes do not bring anywhere close to their full potential every night.

Thus, I see some losses coming. Maybe not 5. Definitely 3.

If they start showing up for every game then that will be a very good sign and I predict they might not even lose one game if that were the case. But as it stands now...

Noon. I didn't know it was at 12pm and a national TV game. Kewl. I'm getting damn excited.

I don't think there is a team out there who can beat OSU if they come to play real hard and with passion. They just have too many weapons on both offense and defense. OSU can only beat themselves by not being ready to play.

CBS games always make me think of tourney time... Can't wait for this game.

I do not think, BTW, that OSU will win the Big Ten tourney and will have a total of 4 losses going into the madness.

If a team like OSU cannot get up for a game like this one, they won't deserve to win. We are 1.5 point favorites. That's it. I actually think most of the national media expects Illinois to win.
