These guys are good

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Wisconsin's fans defended their own house. Let's not act like most of Ohio doesn't act the same way during big home games.

On Swift Taylor, I would have liked to see Ohio State defend him with a little more urgency when they were up big... once he made a few in a row, he wasn't going to go cold. The fans were worked up to a frenzy, carrying the energy of the Wisconsin players. When the home team can't miss and the home crowd gets that excited, it is hard for the refs to call fouls against them. That is just the way it is.

Great game, and unlike college football, one loss doesn't ruin the season.

Our fans do the same shit, it's just how sports work. Like Randolph said, their fans brought it today and fucking sapped our players.

I wouldn't be mad at all if we weren't up by 15 fucking points and let it evaporate in under 3 minutes. That's embarrassing.

We we not ready to play. This team better figure out all teams want to beat them. They have to learn they can't simply show up and win. Pathetic display so far.

Nice defense in 2nd. Sullinger was almost a non factor. Great game by Buford. Soooooo damn smooth. Smooth off the dribble. Smooth spotting up. Smooth in every way. This guy might play his way into the 1st round of the draft OR higher. We'll see come tourney time. Craft is amazing.

I might be wrong, but I don't even remember hearing a "Fuck Wisconsin" or "(Player X) Swallows" (if they're true) chant from the OSU crowd...

Are we really complaining about this? I hear some of the filthiest, nastiest things when I'm at the games. Maybe they aren't organized chants, but how do you turn, "I saw your mother get killed in Africa on CNN!" into a chant, anyways?

At one point Buford was projected a borderline loto pick by some people. I agree about his game being smooth and he has been pretty good in Big Ten play. I think he will be a good pro.

Oh I have no doubt that all fans of every team in every sport say some of the filthiest, nastiest things about the opposition.

That's wrong too, no doubt, but it's a bit different from saying them as a chant on national t.v..

At Purdue on Sunday. Are those fans going to be nasty? I'd say yes. Will they storm the floor if Purdue wins? Probably. OSU better be ready to play.

I believe the spitting thing was very bad for Sullinger. He needs to keep his mind on basketball instead of worrying about the fans and his twitter account.

I agree with you.

I remember reading about he and Evan Turner's draft stock sometime last year just to see what was going to happen and I saw a scout saying something like, "I can't wait for Evan Turner to enter the draft so everyone can see how bad Buford is and that his career was all because of Turner."

Some scouts are garbage. I do wonder, however, if he has been a slight beneficiary of having Turner and Sullinger in two of his most important years at OSU.

I do like Craft on both sides of the court, but I'd like to see him run the pick-and-roll a little more efficiently.

At Purdue today 1pm on CBS. Big game. Purdue is pissed about the last one. OSU needs to be ready. 3 out 4 top teams have lost this week. Texas and Pitt lost last night. If OSU wins, they are #1 again.

Sullinger and Craft need to have good games. Buford, Lighty, and Diebler need to back them up on their best games in order to win this one. Purdue is unbeaten at home this year.

We'll see if we learned/grew from Wisconsin this is like deja vu all over again to use a yogi-ism.

I don't know, but I think I would consider Diebler in the 2nd round (with the later pick). At 6-6 and great 3pt shooting ability, I think he might be a nice player in the NBA. What do you guys think about that, the Cavs taking Diebler with OKC's 2nd rounder?

Everyone seems to overvalue the OSU players because their our favorite team. There are almost always better options out there, we shouldn't pick them just because they're from OSU.

Believe me, I realize that. And I probably AM overvaluing them. But he's 6-6, can shoot bombs, and has a very very good scoring background. I just feel like he could be a nice player to come off the bench behind an athletic player in Eyenga at the 2. You have athleticism and (eventually defense) in Eyenga, and great shooting ability in Diebler. Just seems like a nice 1-2 punch to me.
