This team has disgraced CLEVELAND tonight

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The plea ALL WEEK was for the fans to NOT EMBARRASS Cleveland...

The irony is striking.

If Cavs Overtime on KNR is any indication of how fans at large feel about this team, Gilbert better by ready to start hemorrhaging money next year like he never has in his life because that arena is going to be a ghost town next year.

People calling in are mad at everyone right now, Gilbert included for essentially wasting this year putting a poor product on the floor instead of blowing up the roster when Lebron left and at least start building for the future.

Chris Grant and the entire front office need to go, as well as the whole roster. Gilbert needs to do what Randy Lerner did and hire a "credible basketball figure" (as Holmgren was) to run the organization, and then fade into the background for a while.

He keeps hiring rookie GM's that he can dominate, and it is hurting the product on the floor. There has been a systematic over estimation of the talent level on this roster for years now by Gilbert and his front office, and it needs to change.

Lebron left this summer because he knew deep down these guys were bums and that he had been carrying them for years. Tonight he just proved to Gilbert, Grant and everyone in the nation what he apparently new all along about the quality of his supporting cast.

If I were Byron Scott I would walk right now and get off a sinking ship because the city is turning on the team, and he is too good a coach to be caught up in a death spiral like we are going to see in the not too distant future.

I hate having to have typed that, but the team/organization appears to have really burned any good will it had going with the fans tonight with the complete egg the team layed. Having a losing team is one thing, but to have a losing team that doesn't appear to overtly care they are getting bitch slapped is not something that plays well in a town like this.

And to think we were more worried about the fans making us look horrible to the world. The players were just as worse. What part of HE LEFT BECAUSE HE THOUGHT YOU SUCKED don't they understand?

I think the funniest part is everybody associated with TNT going, "Oh oh Akron LOVES Lebron no idea what the crowd is talking about!"

As if they know.

Yeah, Kerr also said Gilbert was unpopular and in the hot seat or some shit right before the playoffs last season. I was screaming, "That was four years ago!" or whenever. Jesus. Kerr reminded me how idiotic he is as an announcer.

No guts, no glory. I agree with the sentiment that every single one of these guys should be traded. I wanted to get one of the new wine and gold jerseys but I'd be ashamed to have any of these guys' names on my back. Manny Harris, Samardo Samuels & Eyenga should start the next game. Why is Joey Graham on our team? And for the record I almost puked when #6 was talking about his greatness to Craig Sager.

I normally don't take a 1 strike and your out rule. But I don't seriously see how Gibson can play for this team any more.

D League him until he's traded. Can go sign for the league min in Mia and never win a ring there either.

Slow down with this nonsense big guy. How have they wasted this season? Trade deadline is in february. They still have their TPE. They haven't taken on hardly any new, long-term salary. They still have ample time to blow it up this season and get younger.

I would like to continue to point out that this year's roster is not last years. Put Shaq and Delonte back on this team, and they make the playoffs. This is not the supporting cast LBJ had last year.

Yeah, hard to jump on the fans when the players are essentially laughing in your face by laughing with LeBron

Also, the Scottie Pippen chant was dumb. Scottie's a hall of famer with 6 rings.

The Pippen chant was dumb as fuck. Made Cleveland fans look like idiots with no sense of history. Never mind the guy was one of the best all-around players ever, just enshrined to the HOF and was a big piece of 6 championships but I guess Cleveland fans also forgot he used to murder the Cavs in the playoffs in '92-'94.

Ferry is one of the best executives in this league and Chris Grant hasn't done anything WRONG up to his point and hasn't had an opportunity to do much at all.

The NBA isn't the NFL. Random GM's come out of nowhere every year and rise to the top of the league as far as how they're viewed. Sam Presti was relatively unknown, Mark Warkentein from Denver came out of nowhere...Daryl Morey is another one.

Hiring a seasoned NBA veteran to run your team isn't even a guaranteed path to success. The "biggest name" out there is probably Kevin Pritchard but I can point to plenty of idiotic things he did that ruined Portland's chances at winning a title.

Very few NBA GM's stand out over the others for a long period of time, the key to the NBA is not hiring an incompetent fool(the Paxsons, Isiah Thomas, etc.).

The Cavs strength right now is ownership and front office, in-fact, our basketball people are probably the reason Gilbert hasn't gone out and done something stupid like getting Iguodala yet. They're keeping his emotions out of the basketball processes and there is still PLENTY of time to blow up this team.

You guys are sore losers. FUCK of all of y'all.

Very mature, how does it feel to be on LeBum's nuts all the time? Aleast were not frontrunners like you piece of shit. Get a fucken life also, and its not of its off dumbass.

I don't know why some of you are so shocked. Lebron was surrounded by players that kissed his ass the entire time he was in Cleveland. He was surrounded by a coaching staff that kissed his ass the entire time he was in Cleveland. His teammates were essentially parasites. All this game proved was that the Cavs are not a playoff team without Lebron James.

Instead of rebuilding from scratch and hopefully landing a franchise player, the front office decided to continue forward with a bunch of scrubs that were dependent on Lebron James. Why are some of you so shocked that a bunch of players that were brought in to kiss Lebron's ass, well, kissed his ass tonight?

We're 18 games into the season. It's not like the front offices decision to see what we had for a couple of months is some franchise crippling move that will hurt us for years to come.

I agree that the chant was stupid and shouldn't have happened, but for different reasons. The effect was fine. Yeah Scottie Pippen was an excellent player and has many rings, but that isn't the point of the chant, and you know that, and I know that, and the fans and LeBron know that.

Did anyone expect this group to actually contend? Can you say that with a straight face? Mo Williams is the number one option and is still lovesick because Lebron left. That speaks volumes. Trade everyone away for picks, cap room, young talent, etc. Everyone should have known this going into the season.
