This team has disgraced CLEVELAND tonight

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Pippen chant was dumb as fuck. Made Cleveland fans look like idiots with no sense of history. Never mind the guy was one of the best all-around players ever, just enshrined to the HOF and was a big piece of 6 championships but I guess Cleveland fans also forgot he used to murder the Cavs in the playoffs in '92-'94.

This post makes you look like a fucking moron with no sense of context.

The whole point is this, if LeBron wins 6 rings and becomes a top 50 player of all time, nobody really cares. In-fact, if LeBron James has a career that mirrors Scottie Pippen, it's easily one of the most massive disappointments in NBA history.

You have a guy who was supposed to and has the talent to be a top 5 player to ever play this game and all he can muster up is being a less polished Scottie Pippen? Really? That's not a positive trait when you take it in context.

Anyone who thinks the roster COULD have been SUCCESSFULLY turned out completely from late-July last year until now just doesn't understand how the NBA works. It took several years to put a decent team around LeBron after he was drafted. If you try to do it all at once, you end up with Kevin Ollie, Ira Newble, and the ghost of Eric Williams. The team needs several drafts, several offseasons, and several trade deadlines to fix this unbalanced roster. It always has.

We're 18 games into the season. It's not like the front offices decision to see what we had for a couple of months is some franchise crippling move that will hurt us for years to come.

Yeah, I know some people are going to use tonight as justification for why we should have been blowing things up right away, but that's not the point. We can just as well draft some young dude who'd be just as starstruck by Lebron as JJ apparently is. Everyone knows this team is going to look different next year. It wouldn't have changed anything on the floor tonight.

I agree that the chant was stupid and shouldn't have happened, but for different reasons. The effect was fine. Yeah Scottie Pippen was an excellent player and has many rings, but that isn't the point of the chant, and you know that, and I know that, and the fans and LeBron know that.

I know what the point of the chant is but it's still dumb. A team doesn't win a championship without a Scottie Pippen period. You replace Mo "bitch-ass" Williams with Pippen and Lebron is still in Cleveland today smiling with rings. The way Cavs fans disrespected a great HOF player on national TV made themselves look like a bunch of douches with no sense of history. Whoever thought of that idea needs to be slapped...HARD.

That may be how you look at it, but there are alot of people (and they have been calling in) who take the opposite view that the front office guys are bums across the board because of the fact they needed Lebron tonight to confirm for them that they have assembled a junk roster.

The problem has been for years now they have perpetually "seen" more potential in that group than ever was really justified.

It is causing alot of anger out there right now that the people in charge needed 18 games to "see" what the fan base has known all along about the quality of this roster.

Did anyone expect this group to actually contend? Can you say that with a straight face? Mo Williams is the number one option and is still lovesick because Lebron left. That speaks volumes. Trade everyone away for picks, cap room, young talent, etc. Everyone should have known this going into the season.

Nobody expected them to contend, ultimately they are what I thought they were even though I got caught up and predicted too many wins when those threads were going around. Their ceiling is an 8th seed and nothing can change that and the only way to build is through the draft.

The team(Gilbert and Grant and Scott) tried to put on a brave face and talk big, which is what they are supposed to do. Ultimately, there isn't much harm in whatever happens this season. From an early look at least, I don't see any can't miss prospects that we're missing out on if we do end up winning 35 games so not having a top lottery pick isn't as bad as normal.

On the positive side, this team is now proving that the right route to take is to ultimately blow everything up and if the trend continues I feel the front office will make the right decisions.

Hate what happened tonight... Furious at most of our players... Still love the Cavaliers.

It's always darkest before the dawn. Things will get better for this franchise, I'm sure of it.

All the articles I thought boobie had a sense of passion for this city, trade him now. And where was the hard fouls at? These guys are pussies excluding mo

I have defended this team in other threads where people would post threads titled stuff like "This team sucks and is boring...". I thought we needed to keep a positive attitude as fans. The team was trying to improve and the fans should stay upbeat.

But after tonight...why should we care if the players don't? I mean it was actually obvious. It was blatant. It was like your best man screwing your exgirlfriend in your limo during the wedding. I never thought I'd be more pissed at the Cavs than Lebron after this game.

R.O.F.L. The fan base has known all along? WHICH FAN BASE?? I know you aren't talking about the Cavs fan base. Because if you are, just take a cruise the past threads on this board to see MANY people talking about how this roster had real talent and could make the playoffs w/o LBJ. No, friend, man CLE fans thought just as highly of this roster as the front office did.

Not really. In fact, tonights game made Cavs fans look like one of the best fanbases in the NBA and as much has been said by Webber and Barkley and national media people who usually are quick to trash anything that has to do with Cleveland.

You're the douche here, it's obvious you're only here to troll. Go celebrate the Miami win, they're 12-8 with 0 wins against good NBA teams. Right on schedule for yet another LeBron James early playoff exit. In-fact, that's exactly what happens when Scottie Pippen is your best player like he is in Miami, early playoff exits.

You're still not getting it. Lebron was supposed to be Jordan, the guy the team is built around. Not the Pippen, the crucial no. 2 piece. When the going got tough, Lebron gave up and resigned himself to being no. 2.

And who is the Lakers' Pippen? Gasol? You really think he's as good as Pippen, or even fills the same role and deserves to be called a "Pippen"? There's more than one way to win a championship.

This message is hidden because LeBronMVP is on your ignore list.

Thank god I didnt see this fucktard's post.

This pretty much sums it up.
