Timofey Mozgov Mancrush thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You know what really gets me hard in my dreams at night that might have led to nocturnal emissions?

Chris Kaman.

He's shooting 59% from the field off the bench and leading all bench players in points and rebounds for Portland.

I believe he signed a 2 year contract with them but they are competing this year so I don't know how feasible he actually is. He has shown signs of good health and production and he could be a key contributor off the bench with Dion and Tristan while giving us some size (in my pants).
Every year Kaman starts off given peeps woodies only to go on the DL .. Dude should retire but he can't walk anymore.

Was just coming in to post that - DEN looks terrible this year, sooner rather than later they will have to start thinking about building for next year and Griff will be there waiting to pounce.

Mozgov could still be pricey because he is on a value contract, so they won't just give him away. Will probably require the MEM pick...

Aaron Afflalo could be another guy on DEN who would fit in nicely here that they don't have much use for.

Nooooo, the Memphis pick is very valuable. You don't go giving that away like the Omri Casspi Sacto Pick.

Mozgov isn't a good enough player for me to cough up that asset. Haywood contract, 2nd rounders or tell them to kiss off.

Who are you suggesting we go after then? Good centers in the NBA now days don't grow on trees. I think one of the Denver bigs is the best we are going to get for the trade assets we have at least for this year and it sure is hell better then playing with 3 PFs out there all season.

It's almost like a perfect storm is brewing.

Denver is in a tailspin, they'll be 2-8 after tonight.

Mozgov isn't playing that great so far this year, it's almost like he knows he will be moved before season's end and is accelerating the process.

In the process of not playing that well, he's lowering his value for us.

This is working out great! Bogans Power!

It's really not that valuable.... The back end protections come off soon and the Grizzlies ain't going anywhere anytime soon, making it your normal late first round pick.

Gasol is possibly leaving them at FA

I really doubt that. Prince comes off the books after this year, and when Gasol's max deal starts to elevate in cost, the salary cap and thus the luxury tax will rise significantly, so there is no danger there. They aren't going to let him go.

If another team sees value in that pick, I'm all for trading it, because at the moment it looks like we're going to get it in 2017 when the back end protections come off and it's only 1-5 protected.

Wouldn't he wanna contend for a championship ?
He won't be able to with Memphis, they don't have what it takes imo.
Anyway, i'm watching the Alex Len draft report and shaking my head :/ Bennet was a good pick (sarcastic)

Keep praying for McGee, my friends.

Keep believing, although Mozgov's performances haven't been that great stats-wise, he does currently have a OppFG% of around 45% at the rim.

Better than Noah and Anthony Davis

Where is he going to sign this off-season that would give him a better chance to contend for a title? Players don't always look to move on. If Memphis pays him, there's no reason to believe he's leaving.

I'm totally down with moving the Memphis pick for him.

Everything we have on Mozgov from last year shows he's a solid defender, and does protect the rim. He is great in transition, can finish at the rim, and his jump shot is good enough for a center. He's a perfect fit for this team.

I don't think I gave any reason to think I thought the contrary but we're not in disagreement here.

I sure hope the sarcastic part was about Len. You don't draft a guy #1 with stress fractures in both feet.

I have stress fractures on both of my legs and I'm great in pick up games
Nah i'm just looking at Noel and then on Len and I want Noel and then I want Len and then i'm debating and thinking about it all night

I know, I was just reinforcing my thought. I wouldn't be praying for McGee. Mozgov is so much more ideal.
