Farewell, Timofey Mozgov

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Oh well. This is the NBA. And an NBA coach will face the consequences of their own stubbornness if "just because" is indeed the case.

It might really be no more complicated than that he wants other players to spend time with starters Timo is clearly already on the same page with.

Long term strategy... Just look at how many minutes Delly gets. And Jones... Working on things that are not yet working properly. We all know starters can kill anyone. You guy are under valuing Blatt.

I think you might be right. He may be saving Timofey for the playoffs as well. He has really played low minutes so far, so he should be in good shape later in the season.

While you can't rule out the notion that the team is saving tricks for the playoffs, I've always been disappointed when I thought it might be the case. After many years of hoping to see new wrinkles in the post season, at this point I'd be completely surprised if I saw a coach bring out big changes for the post season without having their back completely against the wall.

As for Delly & Jones, the only way their minutes go down right now is if Marion comes back healthy & engaged and gets back into the rotation.

7 foot gazelle in the open court. Absolutely off the charts tonight.

Just a bit upset that TT ruined meaningful shared minutes in the 4th.

Edit: Never mind. It's a faker. I reported the account for posing as Mozgov.

Everybody needs to follow this guy on Twitter. Barely over 1000 followers is unacceptable for the Mozinator. A few attention whoring girls I know have more followers than that, and he's an NBA player starting on a contender for crying out loud. :chuckle:

i'm pretty sure some beat writer confirmed a while ago that Mozgov is not on twitter.

I thought the Cavs gave up too much for Mozgov but watching this dude play... His skill level, his IQ, the defensive disruption, his motor, setting hard picks, the way he bolts down the floor... it makes a guy feel happy to watch it. Great trade.

In todays NBA to get a Center like this is worth the price and some.

No it's definitely him. The official Cavs account has @'d this exact account before. His first tweet was in Feb 12, so maybe that was before he created it.

His Instagram has 40,000 followers and his twitter only has 1,000. Somethings not right here. I do remember Fred saying he wasn't on twitter.

Mozgov is currently +16.6 point per 100 possessions for the Cavs. Only Curry is better at +16.7.

Since the Lakers game on Jan. 15th, he's an aggregate +323 on court.

Out of those 27 games, he's had 23 PLUS games (including games of +40, +29, +25, +25, +25, +21, +19, +19, +18), 3 minus games, and one neutral game.

Mozgov and LeBron have played 530 minutes together on court. They are +22.7 points per 100 possessions together, the best duo in the NBA.

Mozgod has been a godsend.

Edit: Never mind. You were right. It's fake.

Like I said, he created his Twitter just a month ago. I don't know what to tell you.

He's also followed by like 7 or so verified accounts including David Aldridge and Erick Green of the Nuggets.
