I don't mean to dig up an older thread, but my problem seems like it may fit here... or somebody here may have an answer, anyway.

My hard drive recently crapped out on me. I had a legit AutoCAD 2009 loaded (I didn't buy it, but a client gave me one of their unused seats to cover an invoice they weren't able to pay). I used a backup image to restore my system to a new hard drive and everything seemed to be business-as-usual until I started up AutoCAD to do some work. Suddenly, my AutoCAD is asking for a new activation code. The one I had isn't working and the program is saying that the serial number I have is invalid.

I'm wondering if something in the registry got out of whack or something along those lines? Some of the research I have done shows a keygen program called X-Force keygen as a possible solution, but I can't seem to locate it except through torrents. I have no experience with torrents and have no desire to start. Anybody have any ideasfor me?

Agreed. Kickass kicks ass, so to speak. The new Pirate Bay actually works quite well as well. For TV shows, it's got to be eztv.it without a doubt.

There was a good discussion about this a year or two ago where @gourimoko went into some good detail about it. Not much has changed since usenet kind of flies under the radar. I've been using Astraweb for free for awhile now and my download speeds are always maxed out. Torrents just have too many fake files and they take way too long to download because you're too dependent on other people seeding, not to even get into the security concerns. Once you usenet you'll only torrent for that rare thing you just can't find any other way.

it's a forum where people post stuff, what i usually do is just pay $10 for a one month membership to rapidgator or uploaded and just download every thing i need for that month

Want to grave dig this thread. Warez-bb has been down for about 2 days according to various sources. I have been using that for years. Anyone have any alternatives that are not tehparadox or twilight?

If not ill have to get into usenet or a private torrent tracker

I believe the FBI was doing a crackdown on torrent sites as kat.ph or whatever it finally became. Makes me wonder if they are cracking down on all torrent sites
