Trayvon Martin 911 Call From Neighbors and Zimmerman (Audio)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
All I know is in many situations I've been on the wrong side of public opinion in real life fights where i was a victim and was lambasted by popular opinion by a bunch of people that didn't see what actually happened. Initially, I was on Trayvon's side but my personal experience is gonna rule me out from having any further opinion on this one. I have no idea what happened and there are innaccuracies on both sides and biases from everyone. Everything we're going to see is from a filter and I'm not going to leave my opinion up to those who are better sales people.

The truth is always something in the middle of both sides. I agree one hundred percent with this post.

I'm not picking any sides, this is prime example of situation where, if you're a celebrity, or have any kind of voice, shut the fuck up and educate yourself fully before speaking publicly.

It just makes me sick to see people actually profiting, financially, from this kid's death. The New Black Panther Party is actually looking to take $1M in donations. For fucking what? What are they going to do with the money that's going to change anything?

Ugh... obviously a scam.. just beyond words really...

Wouldn't Trayvon be the one protected by the "stand your ground" law, and if Zimmerman confronted him and attempted to detain him, would it not be unlawful detention?

Well... that's the thing. No one knows if Zimmerman was trying to detain him, or was just verbally confronting him with questions (within the law). The witness did not see anything prior seeing Treyvon on top of Zimmerman.

Yes but when the 911 operator told him not to follow and he still did, Zimmerman becomes legally defenseless imo.

It's not illegal to continue to follow a suspicious person after a dispatcher tells you not to. Unfortunately, that's completely legal.

Dumb? Yes. But legally defenseless? No.

Can someone some up the most recent idea of what happened between the two? I originally thought Zimmerman confronted the kid, then I heard it was the kid ambushing Zimmerman. Are we back to Zimmerman confronting the kid?

No.

I will wait until the full report comes out and the media circlejerk ends for me to come up with my decision.

if you are following someone how are you doing anything other than intending to confront the person? and if you are intending to confront someone, and that someone ends up killed (while un-armed), i would say zimmerman is in serious shit

Technically, I can come up to you and question why you are walking around. That's not breaking a law.

The fact is, we don't know what kind of confrontation ensued. Even the guy who witnessed Trayvon beating up Zimmerman doesn't know.

It is interesting though how the media only shows the two women's account of the situation whom both think Trayvon was the one screaming for help but the witness who SAW the assault by Trayvon is never shown on national television. That interview of the witness was released yesterday but apparently the national media doesn't deem it necessary to show...

Think of the movement that's taken place. Even Obama has chimed in. The media doesn't want to backtrack all the pro Trayvon news apparently and for good reason. They would look like asses and it would hurt politically. I've provided a link to the video of the witness so it's legit and his testimony was apart of the departments evidence.

I'm not even anti media and I'm pro Obama but I'm surprised he commented on this because this could come back and bite him on the ass.

BTW, the Black Panther party has put a 10,000 reward for the citizen arrest of Zimmerman.

My best guess as to what happened...

Martin was walking home.
Zimmerman saw him, believed he was suspicious, and began to follow him.
Martin realized he was being followed and got out of Zimmerman's line of sight (ducked behind a corner or garbage can or something).
When Zimmerman got to where Martin was hiding, Martin ambushed him (kid doesn't know if he's about be robbed or what, he just knows a guy bigger than him is definitely following him)
In the struggle Zimmerman gets his pistol out and shoots the kid dead.

I believe Zimmerman was probably getting his ass kicked by a kid who was scared he was about to get robbed or attacked. So technically Zimmerman was acting in self defense as he likely was getting the worse end of the fight.

That said, Zimmerman never should have been following him in the first place and should still face legal action in some way.

To see if they are going to do anything illegal and stop them from doing so. He was neighborhood watch, so he was following someone he thought was suspicious. (Not agreeing with his definition of a suspicious looking person, but that's why he would follow him.)

It seems you have as much of an idea as I or anyone else here as to who confronted who. Assuming one way or another doesn't help. But, what we do have a pretty idea of is that the kid ending up beating the shit out of Zimmerman and somehow he was able to pull his pistol and shoot the kid.

What I'm thinking is.. if he confronted the kid, knowing that he's an idiot and seems crazy, I would think he'd do it with his pistol at the ready- meaning the kid would never had a chance to beat his ass. That's just my own thoughts, but I'm going to see how this unfolds.

CBBI's guessing of what happened seems like the most logical way it went down to me.

law aside, bringing a gun to a fist fight is a fucking bitch move.

Let the fucking police do their job and Zimmerman is at home jerking off to cops and trayvon in school being a kid.

If you're not TDK, vigilantism isn't your thing.
