Yes, and it's sometimes the actual credibility of that journalist. I don't believe anyone is questioning the credibility of them in this case.

For those doubting veracity of original Yahoo report on Jim Tressel, WBNS 10TV says they've verified it. Tressel knew before December.

No one knows if maybe he did hear about them selling jerseys, he investigated it, couldn't prove it and then left it alone... I would be shocked if Tressell knowingly lied to the NCAA... I will bet the house he will be coaching this team next year...

Not saying anything? No dude, when you tell the NCAA you first learned about the stuff in December, and then it turns out you in fact learned about it in April, we call that a "lie." Not sure what you call it though.
